My garden has 4 black aluminum chairs that don’t require cushions, but these Favoyard Outdoor Chair Cushions will dress them up and make the spot more inviting. The cushion covers are very well stitched and all interior fabric edges are overlocked. These are boxed cushion covers with a flanged zipper at the back and ties for securing to chair legs. The beige fabric is a nice neutral that is neither pinkish nor yellow. The weave is tight, and the interior side has a waterproof coating. The memory foam inserts are also covered with zippered cases. I like that the manufacturer has included a warranty and I consider these cushions a good value. These arrive with the foam tightly compressed and sealed in sets of 2, then sleeved in heavy plastic envelopes. The covers are simply folded. Be careful when opening the box as it may be best not to use a blade or any sharp instrument. Things that I found helpful (the pictures I’ve included were taken immediately after filling) : 1 Do not open the foam cushions until you are ready to fill the covers. 2 Use your fingers inside the covers to press/pull all the seams and piping out to form a nice crisp shape before filling. The seams should face toward the side boxing not the seating surfaces. I am right-handed and found it easiest to end this process with the zipper tab to my left. 3 When you first open the compressed packaging, the cushions immediately begin to bloom. Remember that you are leaving the cushion zippered covers in place. Wait only briefly, until you can determine approximate center points of the zippered edge and the one opposite. Lightly fold the cushion in half along that imaginary line from front to back while holding the zippered edge closest to you. Slide this now ‘V-shaped’ cushion all the way forward to the front boxing and release. Now you can smooth the growing cushion into corners and along the sides as you work to the back. 4 Set upright on the front boxed edge. Now you will be able to use your right thumb to press the foam filler inward as you pull the cover zipper toward the right. This really helps to be able to make crisp full corners at the back and keeps all the seams hidden and straight. Because the zippered cover on the foam is overly generous, I found that this method gave me the ability to control that zipper so that it stays tucked behind the flanged zipper of the cover and does not poke up anywhere on the seating sides of the cushion. 5 Now, let the cushions relax and admire them.

Ha ha it really was like magic, getting this small box with (what?!) FOUR CUSHIONS IN THERE? I thought for sure I misread and it was going to only be the covers - but nope! These are super compressed and rolled up so small. I left them unpacked and checked on them a couple of days later and sure enough they are full-sized. These aren't as dense as I'd like, but for a 2" cushion it's not bad. And for $14 a cushion it's a great value.

Over the years I have ordered different sets of cushions for my outdoor chairs on Amazon. Some have been good, but these were downright amazing. As other reviewers noted, they come triple-sealed and compressed. The pillow cushions are packaged separately from the cushion sleeves, so the exterior of the cushions is not wrinkled (unlike other companies which often shrink both the pillows and the sleeves, making for hard to eliminate wrinkles). You have to work quickly, as once you open the final layer of the interior cushion they start to swell up. Although the website says they are 2" thick, each of the pillows they sent me was thicker than 2 inches, which was a nice surprise. Especially nice is that each of the interior cushions is encased in its own zippered lining. So you can remove both that lining and the exterior colored sleeve for laundering. (Again, most competing brands do not bother to encase the inner cushions in a washable zip-off envelope--if you are lucky you might be able to remove the exterior cushion cover, but that is it). I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the company offers a free 1 year warranty on the exterior fabric. Again, unusual for items at this price point. Finally, the zipper on the exterior sleeve is well-made. and zips easily. I was pleasantly surprised to see that unlike other brands at this price point, these pillow cushion zippers had a fold-over flap that hides the lighter-colored zipper and helps ensure that moisture does not seep in. The back side of the exterior sleeve is also plasticated, so that makes me very confident about leaving these outside overnight. All in all, a terrific product and a bargain price. I will be getting more of these!

I really like these! They came in a tiny box and it is truly impressive how much vacuum sealing does to cut down on waste and weight! It was fun watching these tiny little cushions spread out to become my new porch cushions! Obviously they were well packaged and got here quickly. I posted pics of my older cushions that I got from Lowe's and were significantly more expensive (about $20 a piece). These honestly feel more durable than my Lowe's ones as well. I live in an area with a LOT of rain and even though it's a covered porch, my cushions get very dirty very quickly. These have the feel of weather resistant material (that slicker, tight vinyl feel) I also love the dark grey color (I hope they don't fade in the sun, but only time will tell) They are zippered which is nice because you can take them off to wash and while they are the thinner type of cushion, that's what I had on this bench prior so it works if I want to mix and match the colors. They are about the same size as my previous cushions as well, just a hair wider. I threw some dirt and leaves on them earlier when the wind was blowing, and it swept right off so I'm excited to see how these work when the rain comes tomorrow, but for the price, this beats going to the larger chain stores!
