Initial Review = I received both today, on-time as advertised by Amazon, in just a few days (Prime). Quality packing, no damage, good quality product. Includes Covered Foam, Lined cover and Instructions for washing/care too! No tools needed, obviously. Note: Do Not use a razor blade/knife to cut/slice the plastic off the foam roll when it comes out of the box - you'll cut the foam water resistant covering!! Water resistance = As you review the pictures, you'll see double waterproofing material (1. foam itself is covered, 2. outer material is lined inside). I would do the same thing if it were my product too. Weatherproof = Looks pretty waterproof to me - Double lined. I don't know for sure yet, they haven't gotten wet, and I haven't spilled a libation on them yet. =) Color = The Blue color is "almost" like a new pair of jeans (a tiny bit brighter - exactly what I expected/wanted). Only time will tell (too new) on wear/tear and color fasting/fading, but I plan to store these away, out of the major rain/snow storms, sun etc. when not in use (although, nothing from Favoyard states that you need to so this - that's just me). Installation = EASY installation of the foam inside the cover - with a little adjusting for fit, but fits perfectly. Be careful NOT to get the foam/covering pinched in the zipper, just be careful. Do follow the instructions and allow 24-48 hours for the foam to relax to fit inside the cover exactly (the foam comes rolled up). This is NOT a bad thing, it just makes good logic. Attaching Straps/clips = I found that I did not need to use them, you might. Good feature if you do. Zipper = No issues with the zipper, good quality. Usage = I have a bench swing and purchased these identical pieces to be interchangeable (back and seat). These are NOT flimsy, squishy cushions like others you may have seen. They're comfortable for my old bones, and that is saying something. Final tip... if your swing is not quite at the perfect height (cushion is 3-1/2 Inch thick quality sponge) and you want to lower the swing 4" (my feet didn't reach the deck anymore with the bottom cushion installed), I recommend adding another spring (set) to the existing springs (see last picture of springs I purchased). I don't recommend cutting the legs down of your swing frame. LOL Mixed Review = The handle on the front... to each their own (I've read the other reviews). Remove or stay - Up to you (easily removed with a stitch remover). These are super light enough (foam) NOT to need a handle. I might remove the handle later.... dunno yet. Overall = Happy with my purchase, good quality; can't wait to sit back, grab a beverage, sit by the fire at night, and enjoy Life. Day 1 opinion = I would highly recommend. ... show more

I bought the rust colored cushion for a wood bench we have on our patio. The previous cushion that wasn't supposed to fade totally faded. This one has not faded in the Texas sun thus far. It's thick and really comfortable to sit on. My dog and I like to sit on it and just relax. I also really like the way it attaches to the bench and that I can take the cover off and wash it. I recently purchased this cushion for an outdoor bench (50" wide - 21" deep and 31") and it fit my bench perfectly. The cushion itself arrives completely compressed with a waterproof plastic covering (leave on). The cushion cover itself is separate. Once unrolled, you simply slide the cushion into the cushion cover. Then you only need wait a short period of time for it to decompress before placing it in it's desired location. The cover itself appears to be a soft canvas material and is very well-made. There is a small canvas handle in the front for easy removal and carry. Surprisingly the cushion was very firm and did not flatten out even after being sat on a number of times. And water just seems to be bead up on it with no lasting effect or damage. It is a product I would definitely purchase again.. my only caveat is that I wished they offered some additional colors but other than that... very happy with it. ... show more

I ordered two of these cushions. They came super fast, and they are made so well with super durable material. They are also made with very durable foam, not the cheap kind, like memory foam, or other cheaply made cushions with thin foam. Besides being very durable, they are super comfortable!! I like that the cover comes off (it has a zipper), and you can wash the cover and put it away for winter, and store the foam until you are ready to use it again. I also like the two straps that have a clip that you can put around something to keep the cushions in place. These are a very good buy in my opinion, and I will continue to buy them in the future, and for my other swings. ... show more

I have had several porch- swing cushions; they all go flat in a matter of weeks. This cushion is amazing. It has retained its shape and is so comfortable. It is easy to clean, just wipe. This cushion was the perfect fit for my small porch swing. Water beaded nicely when I accidentally doused it while watering my plants. VERY comfortable! The color is true to the one shown on my screen. I liked the squeeze-lock security straps. Much easier to remove and/or re-attach the cushion than the tie-on type. One of the reviews stated the zipper wasn't covered. Mine was. I have little doubt about the cushion being waterproof. This was a well-constructed, quality item.
