Description

A sturdy piece of cardboard is used as a base to define wing shape with of feathers and marabou downs hand glued to fully cover on both sides. Two elastic straps are attached for easy wear on the shoulders. An iron wire is embedded in the wings so they can be bent to different angles. The front side with shoulder straps have feathers glued in an "opened-up" fashion, so when wings are opened from folded position to flat or extended position away from body, this side of wings will have an extended look, best mimicking birds wings. The back side of the wings have feathers glued in a "closed-down" fashion, so when wings are fully opened when wearing, the look from the back of the wings also mimics the natural state of feathers on birds. Angel halos (boas/rings) are made of super soft full-fluff or half-fluff marabou. The halo ring has an elastic band to fit different head sizes, can also be used as feather necklace and bracelet. Dress not included.

After reading all of the raving reviews I thought these wings would be really something. They were a disappointment, especially given that they cost $54.00. They are a single layer of feathers glued over some cardboard. They don't have any of the depth that is shown in the picture. They are actually smaller than I thought they would be, given the measurements. Yes, they do go above the head a bit, but they are also shorter on the back than represented in the picture. Although shown on a child in one picture, they are shown on an adult manikin in another and appear to be good sized on the manikin/adult. They just aren't as magnificent as I thought they would be.     • Feathers are TRASH
I bought these to wear behind the bar for Halloween. They’re super light weight and the shoulder straps are surprisingly comfortable. The wings also sit very close to the body, making it easy to move around in them. However, the quality of the feathers is not worth $60. The overall quality is poor and these wings should not have cost more than $30 due to the cheap quality overall. The shape is beautiful, and they’re really easy to wear, but the feathers were bent and a couple were missing at the top of one wing when these arrived. One fell off when I tried them on. Only reason I am keeping these is because they’re the perfect shape and size for work, and I’m required to dress up for Halloween for my job. I’m definitely adding nicer, fluffier feathers from a craft store, which I shouldn’t have to do after paying $60 for these. But, the size, shape and comfortable fit are worth it if you are willing to do some diy-ing after these arrive. ... show more

Really pretty feathered wings. A little smaller than I wanted so I added some gold tipped loose feathers to add to the size. I used them on a door decorating project. Got a lot of compliments on the quality. A few feathers had fallen off when the wings arrived but they were easily glued back.

Feather damage— STRAPS ON THE WRONG SIDE!! This isn’t something you can invert, it’ll snap. Completely ruins it. EDIT: customer service told me to flip my wings and they snapped in half!!! If you want to make an impression, these wings are for you. I bought them and wore them for Halloween 2018. I wore them to my job and children who stopped by to Trick Or Treat all complimented my costume, they were in awe. It's a little odd the way the straps are for wearing them, but you get used to it. Would recommend. They're a great size and come in good packaging to protect them. The halo is adorable, too! And they send extra feathers in case anything happens to them over time. These wings are absolutely stunning and really good for costumes or just photos! I got them for my daughters angel costume and she loved them. They aren't heavy but they feel sturdy. I know they are a bit more on the expensive side for some people but I really do think it's worth it.
