Great horns for the money. Louder than stock, but not obnoxiously loud. Fit great, easy to install. I did have to splice in the wiring as they did not have the same "plug" style ends that my Ford Expedition had stock. no big deal, I spliced the wires and they work great. We drive a lot of country roads, and Deer are always jumping or standing in the roadways. These horns toot loud enough and at the right tone that it gets their attention immediately and they jump out of the roads or turn around. The box contained two horns, and everything needed for a general install. I installed it on an easy go golf cart; Office personnel need to drive around the factory, and the golf cart did not have a horn. One horn was loud enough. It works great!

Not sure what some reviewers are talking about when they say these horns are not loud. Unless you were expecting locomotive or 18-wheeler air horn type of loud, I think you will be very pleased with the dB level coming out of these. My only *slight* disappointment is the strength of the mounting mechanism, because I am using these on my Ford 550 Tractor-Loader-Backhoe, which presents an operating environment that is harsher than under the hood of a Subaru Outback. Overall, I am VERY pleased with these horns and the value for the price. We'll see how they hold up to living inside a TLB engine compartment. ... show more

    • Loud - Great value - Great Replacement for High Low horns

What a great value these are. They are loud. I replaced non-working original horns in my 1968 Camaro with these. The High and Low notes are a little off in frequency compared to the vintage horns, but honestly these are just as nice and louder. My Camaro is a resto-mod so originality didn't matter - they are hidden behind the grill anyway - so who cares. Considering original replacements are in the $200 range these were a bargain and work great. Polarity doesn't matter on these. I hooked a lug up to the center bolt on each. 12v from the relay feeds the other lug. Presto. I can announce myself to the world again! Super stocked with these horns! ... show more

A bit disappointed but they work. Package was missing installation hardware so I had to make a trip to the local big box hardware store to get mounting nuts. Thankfully I didn't need the mounting bars shown in the product image. Installation was quick and easy on my 2019 Explorer. Actual tone of the horns in the product video was quite misleading. I thought these horns would have a deeper tone, they sound pretty much like stock horns. When buying them I didn't notice the higher hz values. All in all I now have a horn that works but wasn't quite what I was looking for. ... show more

I was told by a mechanic that my horn wasn't working because of a short in the steering column. He also told me a few other things that turned out to be untrue - so now that my yearly inspection was almost due and my horn wasn't working 100 % the time I ordered this. I took it to my dad to help with installation. We found that my horn just had a frayed wire. We replaced a small section of the old setup with the two new horns and a few new wires from this kit, and I ended up not needing the push button. My horn works every time now, it's loud, it sounds clear and I'm glad I spent $30 instead of $800. We spent about 45 min installing because my grill wouldn't come off easy. The only thing I could say is the mounting brackets were flimsy so idk how well they will hold up in the long run. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These horns are hella loud and seem to be made of good materials. They look weird on my scooter, but fit really well. They also draw so much power that it causes voltage drop on my scooter, which is insane. Even though they're rated for 24v they'll work just fine on a 72v system, but will sound higher pitched than expected. Would definitely recommend this pair of horns if you're upgrading from a weaker horn or need to replace a pair. ... show more
