We really enjoy this and the original version. The advantage of the Clone Wars version is we find the games are much closer. We do see a big advantage for the Rebels in the original game. Only disadvantage is there are less characters I recognize that the original. Both versions got dozens of plays in the first month we owned them.. Great for people who might not enjoy full blown game nights because it’s just 2 player. And like the original version, this one also excludes probably the 2 most popular Star Wars characters, Aretoo and ThreepeeOh. -1 star for no aretoo.

My boyfriend and I love playing this game with each other. We have both editions and this one seems to be a lot better balanced than the first that came out. I’d recommend it to any Star Wars fans, or anyone into deck building games, I’d also recommend pairing it with card covers to help protect the game for longer! ... show more

Freaking awesome! If you played the first version of this game, then you will enjoy this worthy second one. New mechanics and more interactions between cards. Really fun, and absolutely worth buying and playing especially if you love Star Wars. I happen to be a huge Star Wars nerd so I can say as a nerd I love it! Star wars is a good game. It's a good foundation. Clone Wars blows it out of the water bigger hits and movements more card interactions and plot twists. My brothers and I play a tad off script. We usually do six planets and if we have time we do a ten planet blow out. We are ruthless 50+year olds! This game is good for building memory and memories. I've played the original edition with my younger 9-year-old brother. Not only was the game simple enough for him to understand and fun with all the amazing characters and beautiful art, but I had a blast with the strategies of each deck. Each side offers a unique strategy that provides enough asymmetry to make the game interesting while keeping the game simple enough for any new player. This is a great game for any age, and even if you own the original Star Wars Deckbuilding Game this will provide a unique and fun experience. A must-have for any Star Wars fan. ... show more
