We got this for my 4 year old daughter. She has the matching bookshelf, so this was a perfect fit for her room. It is a nice and sturdy piece. The bins aren't very large, but are perfect for holding her little dolls, doll house furniture, and dress up jewelry. We used the bottom bin for her larger dress up items. It would also be a good spot for a few stuffed animals or books. This toy storage shelf is great! The illustrations on it are cute and I love the storage bin in the bottom, it really helps keep my daughter's toys out of the way. I will say though, if I could give it 4.5 stars I would, because it was tough to put together. Not mentally hard, just physically exhausting. I could have used a better screwdriver, but this thing had like 28 LONG screws to screw in and the pre-drilled holes were juuuuuust a bit too tight, making it so I had to crank the hell out of the screwdriver with both hands and all my body weight over top of it. Each screw took forever to screw in. I had blisters and bruised hands the next couple days. Other than that, the bookcase is well made and sturdy so I know it will last a long time! ... show more

    • Great little toy storage shelf for kids
There was one hole that was not drilled properly, for the life of me I couldn't get the screw in all the way, it got about half way and got stuck. I even tried it with the drill and still couldn't get it to go all the way through the rod. So there is one screw that is sticking out on ours. Thankfully it is on the side facing the corner of the wall. But otherwise it's super cute and good quality overall and was easy to put together, with the one exception. ... show more

    • Perfect storage solution!
We have this set up in our living room for our daughter and love it. It holds all of her toys and the bottom bin is perfect for her larger toys! We love the top shelf too. We put her puzzles and coloring stuff on top. It's perfect since she can't reach yet. It comes with an anchor for safety.
