Maxi should be floor length as shown in the picture. I LOVE the dress, but when size L did not flow as expected for my 5'5 height, I ordered an XL. However, the length is the same. It stops at the top of my ankle which was very disappointing even with slides. It is beautiful, but unless you are shorter than 5'5 or don't want the dress to appear as shown, it will not flow, which takes away from the beautiful pattern. ... show more

I was originally going to return this dress because it's shorter than expected and doesn't touch the ground (I'm 5'7.5), before I open the package I thought the colors were odd. However I bought it for a cruise I'm going on and now after trying it on and wearing it around the house I realize I love it! Even though it's not long enough it will be perfect to wear out for breakfast or lounging around the ship because it's so comfortable. The colors are charming, perfect for a cruise.
