I read, and reread so many reviews for dresses and finally settled on this one. I did notice some of the sewing on the appliques were 'off', but you could only tell from up close. I sent in my measurement, and more than likely due my my error, it was to big. So I did have to have it altered. I didn't like the sleeves that came on the dress as they looked, cheaper to me, so I opt'd to have detachable sleeves made (from trim from a local craft store), which up'd the look of the dress overall. Don’t walk, RUN to buy this dress. It was absolutely STUNNING. I sent me measurements and also requested a few changes to the colors of the fabric. They confirmed all of them with me and sent me an absolutely gorgeous gown. I did have to have some alterations done, but that’s because I’d lost quite a bit of weight before my wedding. This dress is pretty but doesn’t look like the photo. I went with standard sizing and it fit in some areas and needed to be taken in under the bust. My tailor couldn’t alter it because of the lace overlay, so I wish I had ordered custom sizes. I could not return the dress because shipping it back to China was going to cost over $300 with fed ex. This dress was a beautifully made dress, my granddaughter found another dress that she liked better and went with the other dress. This dress quality was as good or better than some that we saw at the bridal dress stores in our location.
