This is definitely in interesting fragrance. I can really see why it became so popular. I can't say that it's something you'll either love or hate because the first time I smelled Fahrenheit I thought why on earth would anyone wear this. Some people smell a strong petrol note, which is my experience. To me, the first thing I thought of was a gas station or mechanic. When I think of those places I don't picture something that people would want to smell, but I own a bottle now.. so lol. I guess the reason I enjoy this fragrance so much is because it took me such a long time to really figure it out. I had about ten samples of this and used up the majority just trying understand why it was so loved. It was in that time I realized that I actually really enjoyed the smell, and it was that curiosity that drew me to smell it more and more. It's kind of addicting in a way. I don't think everyone will love it right off the bat, but with time it's a fragrance that will really grow on you. It's also something that has held up pretty well with time. It doesn't smell outdated at all. It's too unique to smell outdated. It'll surely go down as one of the all time great designer fragrances. Oh, I also own two of the flankers, Absolute and Aqua Fahrenheit. Absolute is pretty good, it's darker and more mysterious in my eyes . Aqua is a pass for me as it loses most of the petrol note and dries down a little strange on my skin.

I had run out of Dior's Fahrenheit 32, and decided to try this instead. I am NOT disappointed, and, though I have about 20 fragrances to choose from on a daily basis, this has become one of my favorite go-to scents. It is a challenge not to wear it daily, but that would be greedy! I still love Dior's 32, and will get another bottle, too. The difference between the two is subtle, and the 32 seems to last longer, so it appeals to me in a different, more intimate way, One smell is all it takes. You have to spray it on your wrist to see how it enhances your body's essence, because it does not smell the same in the bottle as on me . . . There are so many excellent men's fragrances out there, that it is hard to shop for colognes, so I suggest you take your significant other shopping with you, to help you decide . . .

I received the bottle the following day after I clicked "checkout". Outstanding service!. This is my second cologne purchase within 5 weeks from Amazon. The first purchase was Fahrenheit Aqua in which I still have the box AND I also have my box of Fahrenheit 32 which I bought at Macys. The fahrenheit box looks authentic when compared to the other two; I also tested a spray on my wrist and it smells great. I'm only typing this to alleviate any concerns you may have about the authenticity of the bottle. I'll provide another update in a few days once I test out the longevity. I'm happy so far with the purchase. I got the 1.7 oz. Update May 13th 2014 - Longevity is ok. Obviously this varies for people. I get about 8 hours with one spray.

Launched by the design house of Christian Dior in 1988. This fragrance has been iconic from day one and in my humble opinion it will always be. I'm a cologne collector but this one has been my signature cologne from the moment I found out about it. I absolutely love the scent of this cologne ever since I first smelled it I have always loved it. Is so unique that it can't be duplicated. It is simply the best fragrance of ALL time!!!
