  • EXCELLENT LEDs
Model: 9006/HB4
These are EXCELLENT LED fog lights. Got them for an '07 GMC Classic 2500 Sierra pickup. Had to use one of another "O" rings for my particular set up. Just needed a thinner version of the one on there that was too thick for my application. No extra hardware needed. Worked as it came from the package. Would HIGHLY recommend. One side was a little more difficult to put in, as the way your had to tighten it IN the socket, everything wanted to turn the same way. Needed to take it apart, and put in each piece separately. Patience works. WELL worth the effort!!!! ... show more

  • Really great LED bulbs! I have them now in all my vehicles.
Model: H10/9145
Finding quality LED headlight or flog ligh bulbs that don’t have huge heat sinks or fans had been hard till now. Saw these and the few reviews at the time were good. First I put 9006 bulbs in my 2002 Mazda B3000 probably 6 months ago. Easy install and no clearance issues. Very bright, good color, aim stayed spot on, cutoff was great. Night visibility very much improved and no one high beamed me. Then tried an H4 in my Honda NC700X motorcycle which has no extra room, stick bulb barely fits. Same outcome, bright, great cutoff and pattern. MUCH better at night. Latest is a new to me 2005 Ford Escape. Has separate low and high beam bulbs so ordered 2 kits. And just added the Fahren bulbs for the fog lights a well. Same out come. VERY happy with all!!! If I need more for any up coming vehicles, I will buy bulbs from them. No problems, flickering, or anything negative so far. Will update this as time goes on. Hoping they all last a really long time. Very reasonably priced as well! Get some for your ride!!!!! ... show more

  • Will not fit 2005 Toyota 4Runner
Model: 9006/HB4
The first item I ordered came in the correct box and labeled correctly. I opened the box and to my surprise in it were two "used" Phillips 9006 HALOGEN bulbs. Called Amazon, they told me to keep the bulbs (which I have no real use for) and they sent another box of bulbs. Two days latter I received the replacement 9006 bulbs. They were exactly as pictured and I checked them using an external power supply prior to installing them to make sure they worked. They worked fine and were very bright. Then came the problems. I removed with difficulty, because of the tight fit, the original Halogens and installed the new LED 9006's. They went in with no difficulty and turning them into the socket required virtually no effort. Once fully seated and in their indents (that lock the bub in place) the entire bulb assembly was loose. The bulb would not/will not pull itself into the socket housing resulting in a bulb that wobbles in the socket. I believe the problem may be the depth of the plastic nubs that are inboard of the locating ears. The bulb does NOT pull tightly into the socket's cast indents. I could possibly MacGyver the bulb by placing an ≈ .010 shim on the back of the bulb's plastic housing and cementing it with super glue, thus driving the locating nubs further into the sockets' locking indents and possibly reducing the free-play but have not done so. I also found a separate problem that also contributes to the bulbs wobble. The entire heatsink and bulb assembly actually fit through a collar that is integral to the locating/locking ring. It goes through the collar with an excess free-play and only one very tiny screw holds the bulb, electronics and the heatsink on a common shaft. This arrangement allows the entire bulb assembly to rock as the screw becomes a fulcrum with nothing opposite the screw to oppose the bulb from doing what is doing. . .rocking back and forth as on a swivel in the housing ring. Granted it is not a lot of free-play in the collar but none should exist as the entire weight of the heat sink is free to cause the much lighter bulb and its electronics to rock on the fulcrum created by the single locking screw. (note the locking screw, as seen with a x10 jeweler's loupe, seems to be an Allen head but far too small to tighten using any of my Allen heads. (it would require a jeweler's tool) I wrote the manufacturer yangqudong and this was my reply: Hello Walter, Sorry for any inconvenience. It is not because of the problem of the rubber gasket that the installation is not fastened. It may be due to the wrong installation steps. You can try to remove the light from the car and reinstall it. Press the light in first, then rotate it, and then see if it can be tightened Fixed, please let me know the result, thank you, we will always follow up your question and look forward to your reply. Wish you a happy life, Michael I know how to properly install a bulb. It is not rocket science. I wrote a second letter informing the seller that the bulb simply would not work in my 2005's housing and have yet to receive a reply. I would take pictures but what I am saying will not show up using a picture. I mic'ed the bulb in critical areas and it does differ in dimensions by enough to cause the loose socket issue. The loose collar is a manufacturing issue and could be addressed by lessening the diameter of the collar, increasing the diameter of the central mounting shaft or possibly including a tool to tighten the very tiny set screw. I could MacGyver the bulb but it's not worth the effort. I was thinking of swapping out the bulbs I received with another set but that requires that I return the installed bulbs and hope that that what I receive will work. However I don't think this is a "one-off" issue and it's too much of an inconvenience. My current intentions are to return the bulbs and look for another replacement by a different manufacturer. However, if someone has an '05 4Runner and bought a set that work correctly, would you please share. Maybe this IS a "one-off" issue. ... show more
