I honestly could not believe these were fake microphones when I first pulled them out. The little details are surprisingly convincing, right down to the switches and even a spot where batteries look like they are supposed to go. They are lightweight plastic, which is actually exactly what I want for a costume prop. They look realistic without my son having to carry around a heavy real microphone all night. We are doing a Hunger Games family costume this year, and my 14 year old son is going as Caesar Flickerman. I have been slowly putting his costume together, and this is going to be the PERFECT finishing touch. Give him his blue suit, some Capitol level sparkle, dramatic hair, and one of these microphones and he is basically ready to start interviewing tributes. The microphone grille and body look especially convincing from normal costume and photo distance. Obviously once you are holding it you can tell it is a lightweight prop, but visually it does the job really well. You also get two, which is nice because we have a backup if one disappears into the Halloween chaos, or we can use the second one for another costume, photo booth, karaoke themed party, or random teenager nonsense later. For cosplay or Halloween, I would much rather have something like this than hand a kid an actual microphone just for the look. It is inexpensive feeling in weight but surprisingly realistic in appearance, and that is exactly what I needed. Caesar Flickerman officially has his microphone. Now I just need my son to perfect the overly enthusiastic Capitol interview voice.

I purchased this 2 pack of fake microphones to use as Halloween props this year, and they turned out even better than I expected. When I first opened the box, I actually had to double check that they were fake because the design is surprisingly realistic. From the shape to the grille detailing, they look just like standard handheld stage mics. They’re extremely lightweight, which is perfect for what I’m using them for in my outdoor Halloween setup. Even though they’re light, the plastic feels sturdy and durable enough to handle being outside or being used repeatedly as costume accessories. The size is spot on too and they match the proportions of a real microphone, so they photograph well and look convincing from a distance. One detail I really appreciate is the faux switch on the body. It’s a small touch, but it adds to the realism and makes them look more like actual performance mics. These would be great for costumes, karaoke themed parties, stage props, photo booths, or any kind of performance style décor. For a set of two, the price is fantastic. You get a lot of value for something that looks this real and holds up this well. I couldn’t be happier with them and they’re going to be perfect for my Halloween display.

These microphones look exactly like the photos and are fun for pretend play. My favorite part is the top because the material gives it more of the look and feel of a real microphone. The part I don’t really like is the handle. It comes apart into three pieces, and if you have little ones like I do, they may try to twist it open because it looks like it’s supposed to hold batteries. It actually doesn’t use batteries. There are also buttons that make it look like the microphone turns on, so little kids may press them and get confused or disappointed when nothing happens because these are just props with no recording or sound. I’m not really sure why the bottom needs to come apart, I would have preferred it to be one solid piece. The price is fair, and overall I would recommend them for pretend play. Just keep in mind that younger kids may think they’re real microphones and expect them to make sounds or record.

These are actually really nice fake microphones. They have a solid feel in your hand, and the top especially feels surprisingly realistic. From a distance, they definitely look convincing enough for a costume, photo booth, or stage prop. The only part that gives away the fact that they're props is the buttons, which are a little wobbly. It doesn't really affect their purpose, though, and overall I'm impressed with how realistic they look and feel. Pros Realistic appearance Solid feel Microphone top feels surprisingly authentic Great for costumes and photo props Two included Cons Buttons are a little wobbly Overall For fake microphones, these are much more convincing than I expected. They have a nice weight and realistic look, especially around the microphone head. The buttons could be sturdier, but for a prop, they work really well.

These microphones are obviously props, so no one is going to mistake them for real microphones up close, but they're still decently made and look great for a costume. They're lightweight and convincing enough to complete the look without needing to hand a kid an actual microphone. For what I needed them for, they're absolutely perfect. And I love that there are two, so I have a spare if my daughter inevitably loses one or forgets it at school after the Halloween parade. One of these is going straight to my little K-pop star for her Halloween costume, and it adds exactly the finishing touch her outfit needed. Cute, simple, and well made for a plastic costume prop!

This Fake Microphone Prop 2-Pack is surprisingly realistic. If you need non-functional microphones for costumes, pretend play, or photo shoot props, this set looks convincing without feeling overly cheap or looking like a toy. The textured mesh-style top and detailed body look very close to a real handheld microphone from a short distance. These microphones are lightweight and easy to hold. Two make it easy for friends to share or plan a duet. An excellent, budget-friendly prop set for costumes, kids' pretend play, or party photo booths. They look believable on camera. My tween loved using these for her photo booth and continues to pretend play with them.

They look and feel just like real omnidirectional microphones, but there’s a noticeable weight difference compared to genuine ones, as they lack internal components. There are a couple realistic but functionless switches that help sell the realistic design, however there are no functioning lights for the power or battery functions. Great for costumes, karaoke pictures, or even for fake news reporters. These feel durable enough to drop several times and take the beating while out trick-or-treating. Two come to each order adding great value for your money.

These are very realistic-looking. There are lots of details that set these apart from other props or toys. They coloring and size is realistic, and they have lots of other details like power/volume buttons and a faux battery slot. They are lightweight and comfortable to hold. They seem a little pricey, but for as authentic as they look, it's probably reasonable.
