These are comparable to the glitter kits sold in stores around Halloween. It applies just like any standard gel and you sprinkle or dab the glitter on. The glitter are loose and in pots, so be prepared for a mess with it. The included comb is a rattail comb that folds in half, this is a great tool for use behind just applying this product. Great for travels. This kit also comes with a small brush to brush on some glitter. You apply the gel first and then the glitter. It is not as colorful as the stock photos however, the red gel is like a see through color, so hair looks barely tinted.

I ordered the Face Glitter Body Glitter Makeup Kit. It comes with three gels in a tube, 3 containers of chunky glitter/ Medium glitter mixes, a makeup brush and a comb. I used the clear gel and one of the glitter tubs to accent my arm. I had tried to use the brush to apply the glitter but that didnt go too well. LOL It worked fine though when I just picked up some glitter between two fingers and sprinkled it on the wet gel. The adhesion to my arm seems pretty good, the glitter did not easily rub off after it was dried nor does it feel too intrusive. I next applied some of the pink gel onto my light brown hair. If there is glitter in this gel I couldnt really see it. Also, the gel does not show up well on my light brown hair. I suspect it would only show up really good on light blond hair. This is normal for most colored hair gels. I sprinkled some of the chunky gel mixture onto the wet gel and after it dried, it seemed to have good adhesion. It does not easily rub off and the stripe I painted on and then glittered looks really cute. Lastly, I applied the iridescent gel onto my hair. This looked really nice on it's own so I did not add any chunky glitter on top. This finer gel gives a fun look when the light hits it. The adhesion of this gel on my hair is really good and no glitter easily rubs off. I did not use the comb but, other than being foldable, it looks pretty standard. I would recommend this kit if you need a little more sparkle in your life (and hair)!

It's a basic, cheap glitter set. Great for kids or for quick Halloween costumes, but don't expect anything fancy or mind-blowing. It took some work and experimentation to get the glitter to stick to the glue, without getting the glue stuck to my hands or the brush included in the set. I do like that the glue itself is sparkly, but it can be tricky to get the sparkles to spread evenly.

My kid really had fun with this set, it was easy for her to use and it did not irritated her skin. I will have to say that the color is not as vibrant as I see on the product page pictures for the glue part so you have to do a few coats to get the glitter to show as much as they are showing on the product page because it does not have the color on the glue for the background and it does take a bit of time to dry, best if you give it time to dry between coats. Overall it is fun and my kid was able to do it on her own so it entertained her for a while, which to me that is the reason why is worth the $13 price tag.

Love that this set comes with both prefabricated body/hair glitters in red and clear/iridescent, and a clear gel that can be applied as a base for loose glitters. Glitter has lots of sparkle, and loose glitters come in both fine and chunky textures. There is also a small makeup brush included to help make application more precise. Recommend!

This is a pretty cute kit. It comes with 4 little jars of chunky glitter, gel, and a small applicator brush (plus a bonus little flower crown). The glitters are pretty and colorful, but there’s really not a lot in the jars. You can get maybe one or 2 applications per color. I’m using this for hair, so I used actual hair gel and put the glitter on top and blow dried with the cool setting to set it. I did have a little fallout but it was still pretty and just a fun accent.

I'm sure it's just me doing it the first time, but a lot of glitter fell to the ground. I probably needed to be more careful and take more time in applying the glitter flakes onto the gel. But it produces a nice effect on my granddaughters hair.
