I HATE wrapping gifts partly because my scissors never glide down the paper but these? I think I heard angels singing as it gloriously parted the paper like it was nothing. I really wondered what these would be like and how they would cut. Pleasantly surprised. The finish is nice, they are sharp and I’ve cut up to 9oz leather with no problem. They cut almost as good as scissors 3x or 4x more expensive.

These are the best scissors I've ever owned, and some of the best I've used. They remind me of the seamstress quality high dollar sewing scissors from 50 years ago. They really are heavy duty and sharp enough to cut even 8/9oz leather. I use a lil bit of machine oil on the pivot point and on the blades to keep them protected from any potential rust. I have enjoyed and used these far more than I thought I would and am currently ordering another set to replace my fist full of disappointing kitchen scissors that I use daily and suffer with. If you use scissors frequently, i strongly advise these as a purchase you will not regret. ... show more
