Items arrived within two days! These scales looked exactly like they did on the site, wonderfully jigged and a great natural feel. I am working on a large clip point bowie set and sheath rig and going for an old school look and these were absolutely perfect for the look I was going for. I bought the red knife scales because the color looked great and I was looking forward to having a red knife handle. But when I started shaping and sanding one of my two pieces I found out that the red color is just superficial! The color is only on the surface and sands right off. That makes no sense because the whole reason I bought this was for the red color! The picture I attached shows the initial red color on the left, and on the right shows the black color that you’ll find once you start working the material. So dissapointed ... show more

Poor quality control this set are nothing like pictures 👎 . The first set 1 ordered were much nicer. I will probably give them one more chance but after that I’m done.

I was going to use it for a knife but the scales are 3 inches long, which is my fault. Secondly, they're so warped they couldn't be used anyway. Waste of time and money.
