Super soft! Fits very well and is true to size. I am 5'4, 235 lbs and typically wear a size 20. The dress I purchased was a 2xl.The elastic waist is forgiving, so sizing up or down 1 would probably be fine. I am pretty short, ut love how the dress falls just below my knees. I am a C cup and sometimes dresses are too large in the chest area, but because of the way it lays, it looks perfect, but could also fit a larger bust size. The sleeves are adorable and it feels so good on. Did I mention how incredibly soft it is? There's a lining under, so you can't see through it at all. In the photos, I am wearing a black bra and you cannot tell. I almost gave 4 stars because it does not have pockets, but I bought it knowing that, so I can't fault them for that. ... show more

I really love the fit and quality of this dress, it cool and comfortable. I sized up and it fits great. The only thing I wished I had. Prices was that there was no lining on the upper back, so will wear with a camisole.

I just bought this red plus size dress after telling myself I wasn't buying anymore clothes from Amazon because I had too much clothes. Lol. Anyway, when I got this dress and opened the package, I saw red dye on the plastic bag. I knew I had to wash it before wearing it so I hand washed and tumble dried it. It fits well. I read the previous reviews of the dress and knew that it ran big so I sized down. I normally wear size 20 or XXL, but I chose 1X and red. It fits well. It fits perfectly actually. I love that the material is nice and thick, but not too thick. It's not paper thin like a lot of summer dresses are. I think this is more of a fall/spring dress. I love the vibrant color. I thought it was a bit expensive at $40, but I really wanted this dress, so I bought it anyways. I like the style and cut and find that it flatters my tummy area which can be big at times. I would like it better if it were half the price it was, but I can live with the price tag because I'm not buying a whole bunch of dresses, just this one for the time being. I recommend this dress, because it's pretty, a nice short length without being too short, and it's not thin. Update: I returned this dress because I recently read an article that said that polyester is a known endocrine disruptor and that it causes infertility issues. This dress is 100% polyester. If it were 100% cotton, I would have no problem, but I had to return it. ... show more

Then I saw it.. a gorgeous dress called a Mexican fiesta dress with embroidery. Unfortunately it came from China and was four sizes too small. I sent it back but the seller didn't have a larger size. I found another seller, ordered the dress larger. What came was the same dress with the same measurements but a different size tag on it. I sent that back and came to this, my first pick. This dress looks even better in person. I love that it has a built-in matching underskirt type fabric sewn in to keep it from being see through on the front at the top and the bottom. I didn't feel it would be see through when I bought it, but when it arrived, I was glad it had the built-in added fabric. The color is as shown but feels and looks even softer in person.
