Having lost or broken several pair of reading glasses in the last couple of months and having two pair bought at a local drug store break quickly ( always at the junction of the sides attaching to the front frame-either the screw comes out and rarely can I find a replacement, or the plastic cracks or breaks in a way that can’t be put back together ) I bought this collection. It seems relatively distortion free, and comfortable. The frames are thinner than some others that lasted a couple of years so time will tell. I don’t have great expectations but need several pairs at home, in my purse, at my grandkids as I can’t do much without them as my aging eyes and contacts prescription change.

I love this seller's quality of glasses, very clear and not those flat ugly ones so many sellers have, there the lens looks like a flat window pane. I didn't pay attention to my selection and ordered seeing and reading and it turns out they look the same so it's always having to put them on to check which is which. I tried some fingernail polish on the arms tips but it doesn't show up well against the tortoise shell dark frames even though I used green! Maybe I'll put some small rubber bands on the readers. I bought readers too but picked the narrow frames so I can tell them. I need a real eye exam but think it's time I'll get cataract removal and end up with a whole new RX so these are for interim glasses. Well worth it for the time being and really nice quality. I would have given 5 stars if the arm was still connected to the computer glasses, and that pair was the one that only came in a 2 pack so I'm afraid to break into the 2nd pair since first pair only lasted 2 weeks, the regular seeing and reading glasses are still in fine shape. I'm a golfer so can't wear those with progressive (is that the word?) lenses, can't tell exactly where the ball is a clean, worse than trying to golf with bifocals and ball right in the middle of the line. For RX glasses you can get glassed made that have a small reading area up high in a corner, like to be able to read the score card or rules but not in the way of where the call will be in your lens.

So I ordered a 1.75X magnification and could not figure out at first why the lenses were as thick as coke bottles! My daughter noted that one of the tiny tags said 2.25X mag, so that explained that part. When I tried to use them, oddly when I looked at my cell phone, it looked like it was curved in the middle; like it had a convex shape! So that was not cool. Perhaps it's just too high of a mag for me and it's my eyes that couldn't adjust, IDK. The last thing- although I liked the different colors, there was a great difference in pattern between the left lense and the right. It made me feel a bit obvious. Perhaps no one else would have noticed, but it was too weird for me. If you just need some cheap readers for home, these might be just fine, but I need to wear mine at work as well, so if you care about their appearance, might try a plain, even color in this brand.
