Ordered these in Feb 2021 to replace a similar 27w 9-LED 3.5" mounted to a custom hidden T6 Aluminum frame that attaches to the rear license plate mounts. The 27w / 9LED were installed in 2013 and are shown in my first pic. The following pics are of these 36w / 24-LED 4-1/4" lamps in this review. These are triggered by a wireless remote, independent of the standard back-up lamp and they have been an absolute must when using my car to visit customers with long winding driveways where I have to back up and there is no nighttime lighting onsite. The 54w pair was already a huge help but this 72w pair is just like having a set of headlights facing backwards. Although I stopped using my vehicle for business at the end of 2024, they were functioning beautifully up until then and are still working great more than 4 years since they were installed. Despite having been parked exposed between Feb 2021 and March 2025 (when under the carport space became available again) they have not lost their seal - which is a real problem for LED lamps like this, and were the cause of failure of the 27w / 9-LED lamps from 2013-2021. I sometimes just turn them on for temporary focused light when the car is parked to illuminate the driveway beyond my back porch floods for a few minutes. ... show more

I’m not certain these produce the advertised lumens, but I don’t have an instrument to test… they are bright, but not as bright as I expected when compared to other led lights I have used in the past. Still an excellent value and appear well constructed. Small but valuable details like the wiring is tinned etc, the casing appears solid and performed an unintended drop test flawlessly, (I dropped one 3-4 ft onto concrete) and it didn’t explode into a thousand pieces so I believe they will hold up in a harsh use environment… ... show more

I bought these for my 1995 36v EZ-GO. I didn’t notice much of a difference between wiring them for 12v or 24v so I went with 12v. These are super bright! Build quality is impressive as well. Very heavy and well crafted. I will definitely be buying these again for any other recreational vehicles!

Mounted two 3.5" to the back of my rear engine murray lawn mower and one larger one to the front to compliment the existing headlight. Installed them so they can swivel around. Work great while mowing or just too iluminate an area to work in. Both sizes are pretty bright. The smaller ones seem to have a more concentrated beam. ... show more
