This 12-in diamond plated threshold looks and works awesome! The plate is great quality, the hinge operates good, it was super easy to install and it fits pretty good!! I did have to bend it a little bit to compensate for the angle of the trailer door but other than that it's great and the price is very reasonable. Works wonderful, except it should be flat instead of having a hump in the middle of it. I think that would work better especially if you drive something heavy over it other than that it works good

Not the best quality. Had a crease on where it looks as if it was dropped on something sharp. Another bend on one end and a corner bent over. Could have happened during shipping because the packaging sucked. Nothing around the item to protect it. The piano hinge is also very tight and sticks when moving it. ... show more

This slider plate was packaged poorly in a thin box. This caused damage to as corner in which I had to grind and sand to make it a smooth edge. Otherwise it seems like a decent product.

Very satisfied with how this transitions anything rolling over the door gap. Getting heavier loaded furniture dollies (400-600 pounds when this happened) over the transition may cause minor bending/wastage so be careful with those but it’s not even noticeable now. The second transition was just added at the end of the ramp, allowing hinged movement past where the manufactures ramp extension stopped which was pulling/stripping screw holes if the ramp wasn’t low enough. Definitely worth the price to get two of them for our needs. We’ll see how the ramp end works soon. My only deduction of a star is because these don’t give a weight rating for user knowledge. I’m confident they should handle vehicle tires or atv’s/utv’s but our particular use doesn’t often handle any of those. Hand truck tires also cross the transitions well so far. ... show more

Purchased the 72 x 9 plate. Arrived in perfect condition. Works great for my use. I am not driving anything heavy over it, just light hobby use. it doesn't flex at all while walking over it. Love it!
