This 12-in diamond plated threshold looks and works awesome! The plate is great quality, the hinge operates good, it was super easy to install and it fits pretty good!! I did have to bend it a little bit to compensate for the angle of the trailer door but other than that it's great and the price is very reasonable.     • Fills the gap

We have a ramp trailer and it is great but the gap between the ramp door and the actual deck floor of the trailer had about a 4 inch gap. This is no issue for big things like car tires, but if you have something smaller like a wheeled cart, you fall into the gap. I saw these and decided to give it a try- previously we were filling the gap with various pieces of wood. I must say that they perform better than expected! Did exactly what we needed and they fold up with the ramp door and simplify the process. We did have a small issue with them bending a bit under extreme weight (over 2,000pounds) but that was anticipated so we put a few blocks under them in the gap to roll the piece of equipment through. This transition plate is exactly what I was looking for. I have had to deal with the cargo trailer door gap for a long time and this will help. One end arrived bent, however that is not the fault of the manufacturer.

Apparently they poorly package these. No package support or corner protection. From the other reviews I guess its rare to get one not damaged. Mine arrived with both corners bent up. Very poor quality. Not gonna be easy to install with it all tweaked up. 100% not worth more than whatever aluminum scap prices are. Make your own if you want one. ... show more

Purchased the 72 x 9 plate. Arrived in perfect condition. Works great for my use. I am not driving anything heavy over it, just light hobby use. it doesn't flex at all while walking over it. Love it!

They do the job with a little modification but they’re definitely not the greatest quality. Mine arrived with the shipping box torn open on all four corners and the UPS driver pointed out that he had made note of the poor condition. The product itself was bowed and had to be straightened before I could use them. The price was too high for the quality of the product but I made them work.
