eXtreme Dog Fence Collar Receiver Battery - 7.5v Battery This battery will power the following collar receivers: - eXtreme Dog Fence 'Hyper' (stubborn dog) collar (light blue strap and blue rectangular receiver) - Perimeter Technologies' stubborn dog collar (black strap and black rectangular receiver) This battery will NOT power the following collar receivers: - eXtreme Dog Fence 'Active' collar (red strap and blue oval receiver) - Perimeter Technologies native collar (black strap and gray oval receiver) - Other brands/models of electric dog fence These batteries will average about 4 months of life per battery (after the initial training battery). The true life of the battery will depend on how often your dog will challenge the fence line after training has been successfully completed. Able to power fence collars for up to 4 months. Lithium metal lightweight design for your dog's continued comfort 3 year shelf life so that you can keep some on hand for convenience. Additional eXtreme Dog Fence parts and kits available in our Amazon store. Be sure you store your extra batteries in a cool dry place, in order to maintain shelf life.

I bought this because our previous off brand batteries were not lasting as long as the original battery did. So I thought I should buy the extreme dog battery even though it is more expensive. The battery doesn't fit our collar. It's 5 batteries stacked and the collar needs 4. No biggie though. The 5th battery was easily pulled away and the stack remained intact and it works great. If I keep ordering at some point I will have 4 for a new stack. Buy 4 get one free... ;) ... show more

these batteries are supposed to last for months; that's why they're extremely expensive. After one week, the red warning light began to flash, indicating the charge was weak. Total waste of money.

Strongly advise to go to extreme dog fence's website to get this. You will pay a little more. The previous battery I bought lasted 20 days, but thankfully I purchased it at the company's website. I got on the customer website chat, explained the problem, the rep looked it up, and a new battery was in the mail. Took all of 3 minutes to resolve, which is what I have found in every single customer service interaction I've ever had with the company (I've had a few user errors, the product itself is great). By far, it is the absolute best customer service I've experienced. I gave it 3 stars because I thought, well, maybe that'll get your attention. Didn't want to go 5, because that would just encourage you to buy, didn't want to go 1 because it really is a great fencing system. And the LOOK AT THIS DOG part, well, he's a cute boy and you probably like cute dogs since your are looking for dog collar batteries. Cheers. ... show more
