This is great material and a great idea for stray dart capture. Our problem was a side light on the side of the main wooden door that we hung it on. We were terrified that a dart would go off track and hit that sidelight which would cost us big bucks as it's a double-glassed light sandwiched with gas for energy efficiency so the replacement cost would be massive as it's built into the door, not an add-on. So when we received these items, we had to customize cut to fit a big 77" tall by 12" wide swath. This required having to buy 2, which was no big deal. Overall, the wood look blended beautifully with the all wood huge door holding the dartboard, and went very well with the all wood furnishings in the game room. Additionally, since the door is a back door to the house we can peal off the top portion (it required custom fitting as well) to allow sunlight to stream in early in the day, yet be closed off for evening game times. So overall, it worked beautifully. It cut easily, it was simple to apply to the sidelight, and absolutely protected that much fragile area. Since it is easy to adjust to different locations, it did create a perfect fit. Hubby and I were very pleased with the results. Darts stick readily to it if they go off-course, and do not go 'through' it to touch the surface beneath, which was an additional plus. Looks very nice, too. Love the woody appearance! ... show more
