This is worth the money. I'm not sure about durability because it's new. It is thick but not to where it's too much for your washer. I got the queen, not sure about the king size. I felt like I slept better because it was so comfortable. My only concern is that the top section and bottom section don't "seem" connected in the middle. It slides around when you get on top of it. I'm thinking it could get to where you move the bottom part and it will be half bottom/half top as the top part. Hard to explain!! Also, it might just feel like that! Because it must have something silky inside that makes it move around. This is also part of what makes it feel soft. You'd have to get it to know what I'm talking about! Regardless, it's a great value. It fits my queen bed well.

The fit was perfect, great value for the money, fabric is good quality, color is as shoe online. Full breakdown below! I absolutely LOVE this comforter set. The color is exactly as shown in the ads picture, a deep “Emerald Green”, but no matter how I used the windows or ceiling lights, I couldn’t capture the actual color for some reason. So DO NOT WORRY about customer photos. I took pictures in different areas and still couldn’t get it to come out as it appears in person. Great for summer use as well be a although it is plush, it’s not so thick and heavy it can’t be used all year round. The material is INCREDIBLY soft. My cats came out when I was putting it on and would not get off of it. They started “making biscuits” immediately and trust me, they are picky about fabric. I always price and appearance compare. This is the best value overall. I saw a similar one without the pillow shams but I wanted it as a comforter and it was like $4 more for it to be a comforter set rather than a blanket. I personally liked the “ribbing” giving it texture and a more luxurious vibe rather than a flat blanket.

I’ve purchased this comforter three times in the full size and loved it—the inside filling felt softer and more cozy. However, the King size feels different on the inside, not as soft as the others, which was a bit disappointing. That said, it’s still very beautiful, and the outer fabric is super soft and comfortable. I still recommend it, just wish the filling was consistent across sizes.

This set is very soft and cozy. Just beware, you won't be able to sit down on your bed because you will slide right off. Lol. We did have an issue with both of our dogs falling off the bed in the night when we first got this too. It is super thick and fluffy and works well for the colder months.

I just finished up a gothic/steampunk bedroom for guests. Especially my teenage granddaughters! I saw this ultra soft bedding set in black and thought it would be perfect. It is! The fit on this old antique bed wasn’t the best, but I didn’t care. It is soft, fluffy, comfy, and looks awesome in my newly designed bedroom. I should have removed the vintage coverlet for the picture. The pillow shams are soft and wonderful too! Buy with confidence.
