  • Power and Quality!
Size: High Torque 700 Ft-lbs / Pro Version
This is an excellent quality and powerful impact driver. Have had this tool for a month now and I am very satisfied with the performance and battery life. It's small enough to fit in some place other drivers will not and you don't sacrifice power for a smaller size. The tool is well built and durable it's nice to have the basic sockets to start with too. Comes with a very sturdy cell made bag to store it in. It's a winner and a keeper. I would not hesitate to purchase eWork quality tools again. ... show more

  • #1 Impact On Amazon. Excellent Value for Money and Torque Rating
Size: High Torque 700 Ft-lbs / Pro Version
Amazing Build Quality, Excellent Customer Service. This is the best Impact on Amazon, especially for the price. The torque rating and battery life beats all the other impacts that cost over $400. This tool also comes with a sturdy carry case and 5 impact sockets, I recommend this product 10/10, you wont be disappointed. ... show more

Size: High Torque 700 Ft-lbs / Pro Version
Indeed you are powerful, as this user had foreseen. Good work, Ework. There was no disturbance in the force of this RB-810 model as it removed the very stubborn cylinder cap from my old Craftsman 3.5-ton floor jack, using a 52mm socket I sourced from Amazon (SING F LTD; ASIN B01LY4R534). I'm rebuilding this jack and I wasted far too much time and effort in futile attempts to remove that cap, using everything from an 18" crescent wrench and hammering on its handle with a 4-lb. sledge, then using that wrench with cheater pipe (actually an old inner tie rod tool) to using my 24" GearWrench breaker bar (kit on Amazon: ASIN B08P25TX62) with that 52mm socket. No joy. Nothing would break it free, and I was putting tremendous amounts of torque on it. It had me practically pleading with it, "I feel the conflict within you. Let go of your hate for me." Wanting a cordless impact wrench anyway, I purchased this Ework 700 ft-lb model RB-810 and used it with the 52mm socket. The rebel cap was easily defeated and off in just a few seconds! You don't know the power of the Ework side. I also tried some lug nuts with the 19mm socket included in the kit and each nut was loose in about a second. Galactic level gratification right there. Reverse/break auto-stop works well to prevent spin off. There's no auto-stop in forward mode – this isn't a torque driver – and this model is powerful enough to strip threads if you aren't careful (I was, so it didn't). Not so fast, commander: The variable speed on this model is improperly implemented. It's very difficult to make fine adjustments. With a slight pull on the trigger, you get very slow speed. Pull just a tad more and you instantly get a big jump in speed. Pull a tad more and it's nearly full speed. A tad more again it's full speed. It's full speed through about the last half of trigger travel, no matter where you put the trigger in that span. Not good. I might have assumed the intent was to have a few set points for different speeds, rather than it being truly continuously variable, BUT... if you're very careful, you can get slightly different speeds at different points in trigger travel (over the first half of travel). Clearly, the intent was that it should be continuously (true) variable, so this is a hard fail in design or switch manufacturing. This may not be a deal-breaker for a lot of readers, but some might want to know how it works (or doesn't work) on this model. Speed is variable in both directions, except in auto-stop reverse mode, where it's full speed only. Brawn: This bad boy is heavy! Sure, it has a lot of plastic like everything else nowadays, but it doesn't feel cheap, yet the price is lower than competing brands with much less rated power. Build quality is good; there are no loose fasteners or anything else amiss on mine. I can't speak to its durability or longevity, as I haven't dropped it or otherwise abused it, and I haven't used it beyond what I've already described. I'll be doing a complete front end suspension rebuild soon, so If my wrench craps out prematurely, I'll update this review accordingly. Ework backs it up with a 1-year warranty. No brains (mode control design): The mode button is only available after you engage the trigger switch. No big deal, you say? Ok, how about this: pulling the trigger turns on the very bright work light LED, which blinds the user when looking at the control LEDs and trying to set mode/speed. When the work light LED is not illuminated, neither are the mode LEDs, and the control button is disabled, forcing the user to engage the trigger and get blinded by the work LED just to change settings. I have to cover the work light LED with my finger or thumb while changing speeds/modes with another finger/thumb. If you forget you have to cover it, you get blasted in the eyes like a camera flash went off in your face at close range. You get about 10 seconds before the work light goes out, which is enough time to change mode settings. But, it makes no sense that you cannot select mode/torque before engaging the trigger, when the work light LED isn't blinding you. It's annoying enough to make you want to force choke whoever is responsible for this idiotic design, and the cubicle "engineers" who obviously never used a power tool in their lives need to go back to flipping burgers or digging ditches. Driven: The included sockets seem decent quality. The finish is even and complete, there is no flashing around the pin holes, and the machining of the socket and drive pockets is good. The pin holes are properly centered. The internal walls have the typical radius corners and are machined flat. I would have preferred larger labeling – the font is tiny on the smaller sockets. The markings appear to be laser etched. Pin-up model: The kit comes with a pin and o-ring. The o-ring is sized right for the included 17mm socket, but it's a struggle getting it on the larger sockets in the kit. Ework should have included 2 sizes of o-ring. Large and in charge: The charger isn't anything out of the ordinary. It's nothing to write home about, but it does its job. The battery arrived with 1 bar on its built-in charge meter, and I haven't used the wrench long enough to run the battery down, so I can't yet report how long it takes to charge from completely empty, nor how long a full charge typically lasts. It's in the bag: The included soft bag is large enough to hold everything, which is how the kit arrives, and seems well made, but there are some things I'd change about it. It has 3 front pockets, with the middle one having a Velcro-type flap. However, the pockets aren't large enough to accommodate the charger, and there is no internal pouch to keep the charger separated from the wrench. That's begging to get things scratched up or otherwise damaged. The top is zippered and reinforced with a [presumably metal] bar surround, so it stays wide open while you dig around in the bag, which is a nice touch. The bottom is not similarly reinforced – it has a somewhat rigid liner, presumably plastic, that gives it some structural integrity. The feet are relatively hard and feature a number of pyramid gripper spikes on each foot. I guess this is meant to help keep it from sliding around on dirty or greasy surfaces. The feet seem like they could take a fair amount of abuse from dropping the loaded bag on a concrete floor, but how much abuse the wrench itself could take from doing this is anyone's guess (the bag bottom is not padded), and since there's no pouch to separate the charger from the tool, the likelihood of damage to either or both from such mishandling is increased (assuming you tend to keep your chargers and tools in their kit bags). The carrying handles have a Velcro-type strap to keep them bundled when desired. The bag is better than some I've seen, but I would have gladly paid a couple bucks more for a proper blow mold case. Verdict: The wrench has plenty of power to suit most users' needs, and the price is decent for what you get in the kit. I deducted a star because of the stupid mode control design. I should probably deduct another star because of the variable speed operation not being up to par, but the feature isn't that crucial for me with an impact wrench. ... show more

  • VERY powerful impact driver that depletes the battery quickly.
Size: High Torque 700 Ft-lbs / Pro Version
The review I wrote below expressed my appreciation for the tool but found that one battery and no option to buy another left me no option but to return the tool. BUT I found that batteries from a Makita 21v impact tool are exactly the same as the batteries required for this tool. Amazon sells a generic version of this battery at a very good price. I cancelled my return. I am a very happy impact driver user. I returned the best impact driver I have ever used because Amazon does not have replacement batteries and does not know if they ever will. I verified that the driver does have the automatic stop run mode when breaking loose a stuck fastener. It is very high torque but light weight. It is a great value except that I can find no support on the web or at Amazon for a replacement battery or anvil. I am going to buy a more expensive, heavier driver from Harbor Freight because I can get a replacement battery. This is necessary because the tool is sold as a "Pro" model and should be workable all day. If I could buy a second battery, then one could be charging while the other is in use. I will keep watching and will buy again if a replacement battery is an option or if there is a two battery kit available. ... show more

  • I'm speechless
Size: High Torque 700 Ft-lbs / Pro Version
I've used air compressor impacts as well as plug in ones before and this one blew my mind. Did not expect a battery operated impact wrench to have so much power. Not only did it easily take off the drive axle bolt right off, I actually ended up snapping my bolt in half when putting it back on because I was an idiot and underestimated the power. It is heavy, but that's because it's high quality and heavy duty. If you work a lot with cars and don't want to have to wait for the air compressor to fill up, this is the way to go. ... show more
