Let me first get it out there that we’ve all been spoiled with our smartphones. Crystal clear images taken with very little effort. Smartphones have become so common place that we often forget about the price and technology that allow them to work as efficiently as they do. So with that disclaimer, this is a very good camera for the asking price and target age range. But the picture quality is not on par with the cell phone your child may have experience using. I thought my child might get frustrated because it is harder to get a focused shot, but he doesn’t seem to care. I think he has more fun taking the photos than actually looking back at them. The camera screen is not a touch screen so I needed to show my 4.5 year old the controls before he could do it himself. It wasn’t as intuitive as a touch screen, but he quickly picked it up. He’ll still need guidance on how to delete photos, and the included games are very hard for him, but he can switch between modes and filters on his own. And of course he can take pictures and videos. The included tripod connects securely and is a fun feature. The flip up selfie screen makes this camera stand out from others I’ve seen. I would recommend this camera for a young child more interested in the process of taking photos than in the end product.

What a great little camera! I haven't given it to my son yet, but I can already tell just from unboxing that it's a much more kid-friendly design than others that I've tried. My four year old had a different children's camera about a year ago that broke due to him trying to plug it into the wrong kind of charger. This one has the charging port and memory card nicely covered and protected behind a little rubber sleeve. The attachment for the included lanyard is also much sturdier and more well-designed than other common brands, and won't easily break if your child happens to, ya know, swing it around and accidentally bash it into a wall or something (definitely NOT speaking from experience, haha.) I appreciated the flip-screen design and the included accessories, like the tripod. The lanyard strap, however, is absolutely hideous. It's garish yellow with weird cartoons and the word "camera" printed all over it, and it does not match the cutesy woodland design and muted colors of the rest of the piece. I've noticed other reviewers mentioning that a strap was not included, so maybe it was included as an afterthought and that's the only lanyard the manufacturer had on hand? Either way, I will be replacing the lanyard with a more aesthetically pleasing version. The pictures themselves are about average for a kids' camera, but as my son's photography skills are about average for a 4 year old, image quality is not a top selling point for me. I'm much more interested in durability and ease of use, and this little camera is a winner where those factors are concerned. Overall, this is a great buy and I highly recommend it!

I order thud camera for 8 year old. She loves taking pictures with her devices so I wanted to get her an actual camera to use. This camera has the capability of taking both pictures and videos. The quality of the pictures are really good. There seems to be a lot of storage. She was able to take 10 minute videos without any issue. There are features that she can use to make pictures more interesting too. I love that the camera has a handle which can also be used as a tri-pod, and a strap. This is a fun starter camera for kids with many features.

The use of a tripod greatly facilitated the handling of the camera, while the flip screen enabled the children to capture self-portraits effortlessly. Moreover, the inclusion of a SIM card proved to be highly practical, as it negated the necessity of frequently deleting numerous pictures. The children also derived amusement from playing the provided games.

My son loves taking pictures on my phone, but will sometimes take 100 at a time. This has been great for my three year old to take pictures on his own. It takes videos or pictures and there’s options to add fun features like a mustache. You can also play games. Overall, this was a great find.

This is such a cute little camera. It is a very unique entry to the world of kids cameras. I have purchased several before but this is the first time I have seen a flip screen on one and if adults think it's cool, what more if you were a kid. The design and color scheme is adorable, and I love that there is a matching tripod. Little ones can really take off with their imagination with this camera. I really found this camera easier to navigate than others in the past. The software seems to be the same though and like all the others, offer a couple of games. The UI is very nice and easy for kids to understand. It comes with a memory card and reader so it's basically everything you need to get started. It does not come with a neck strap like others as this is probably intended to be some what of a 'vlogging' camera. The images are nice and what you would expect from a kids camera, but in my opinion the quality of the images taken from this is a tad better than others.
