    • Bought as a fidget toy during homeschool.
We have 6 kids who all love fidget toys. I have many musical instruments (guitars, handpan, cajon, ocarina and more) but I wanted something that sounded good no matter what you did. This was perfect! I did not want something super loud or big. Something I could put in a backpack on trips or have out even as a decoration. No matter what you played it sounded beautiful! My 7 year old all the way up to me fell in love with it instantly! Since they are homeschooled and get stressed out at times they tend to fidget and use toys to take a short break. I was irritated by the spinning, zipping and clicking sounds from all those toys LOL. Now they take turns while learning and today it felt like being homeschooled at the spa 😂 Like I said no matter what you hit it all sounded good together. My 7yr old even rote a song using the numbers on the front using math... Go figure! I'm tempted to buy another one just for me. Like I said it is not very loud but is not super quiet either. You could still hear it over them talking. It's easy to hold even for a child and yes my husband with his big hands too! It's beautiful and I am thinking to put it on a plate stand on the side table which will be a great conversation starter for when company comes (after covid of course). Seriously though the best part is you don't need to know how to play anything to use it. Just tap away at any of the keys or combination of the keys and enjoy the music you make! It does come with a book btw to teach you a simple song and you can look up other music to play online as it uses a standard C scale. I have not tried the tuning app yet though as it came in tune.     • I don't know why I bought it..
It's cute, it came in its own little carrying box and all sorts of gadgets.. I have a problem you see.. I get on this app and I scroll and roughly around midnight I start making strange purchases.. and this was one of them. Have awake and half asleep.. I'm like ooohh I'm gonna buy that and play it! When it arrives.. I'm like ooohh.. I don't know how to play it. Lol 🤣🤣 some YouTube videos later.. I'm playing the sound of silence.. and that's as far as I've gotten people.. I don't know how to tune it or anything else. I couldn't tell you if it sounds right or it doesn't.. because I'm not musically inclined!!! I've got zero talent! But with enough YouTube videos I may get somewhere. Either way it's cute. And makes a pretty noise. Kinda like an old school music box. ... show more

I absolutely LOVE playing this lil thumb piano! Never knew these existed, saw it on Amazon late at night, decided I had to have it and have been practicing just about everyday. Has a beautiful, full sound & comes already tuned & ready to play. Getting used to how to "hit" the keys to make it really sing takes some time, but my playing is starting to sound pretty good! I wanted to give a "different" b'day present. No video game, movie, gift card, etc. Something to be entertained & enjoyed alone. Against my daughter's wishes, I purchased this for her friend as a b'day present. I purchased the turquoise one that looks even better in person! I also separately purchased a songbook. When her friend opened it, she LOVED it!! She wants to learn to play the piano, so learning music is something she's interested in. She didn't want to go play for the rest of her party, but wanted to learn a song from the songbook. Everyone surrounded her as she began to learn the different keys.
