  • Works great for network racks.
Size: 1U (24-Port) Style: w/ Support Bar Product Packaging: 1-Pack
So far been a great setup. Just make sure to run your lines thought the rack mount before punching them down. Otherwise very functional and easy to make changes after.

  • Easy to install!
Size: 1U (24-Port) Style: w/ Support Bar Product Packaging: 1-Pack
Worked perfectly! Love that the panel is separated into groups of 6-ports each (x4). This makes it so much easier to work with! The labeling and color coding on the back is clear and easy to identify where each wire pair connects.

  • Exactly as Described
Size: 1U (24-Port) Style: w/ Support Bar Product Packaging: 1-Pack
This was an easy to install, easy to use patch panel that added to the functionality of our server rack. For those that might have their racks more visible, there are panels to hide the ports not being used, which is an added bonus, but not necessary. It was easy to move things around during setup, and I didn't have to worry about cracking or snapping, so it's clearly not poor quality. If you're looking for a simple but satisfying panel, this will do the trick for the price. ... show more

  • Modular and simple. Works
Size: 1U (24-Port) Style: w/ Support Bar Product Packaging: 1-Pack
Solid. Surprisingly lightweight, and though it comes in a small package (it comes folded) the stiffener piece in the center makes the whole thing sturdy, including where the cables run for the strain relief. I really like the fact that I can do my patches in sections outside of the rack, in that each of the 4 modules of 6 ports each comes completely out of main unit, so the rack part is just the housing, and these modules click in snuggly into the main housing. They are conveniently labeled on both the front and the back of the modules so you know which port is which that you're patching. Patching was very easy and quickly done, and putting the whole unit together along with the strain relief and stiffener bar was very quick to do. I found it took not much longer than mounting a normal patch panel, but I feel like time was saved because since I didn't do all my patches at once, I could simply take out the module i wanted to patch that particular afternoon (gets hot in my garage) punch 'em down, and then patch in the cables and was good to go. The front even has a removeable plastic insert so you could write directly on to the paper that has the numbers on it, or you can just use a fine tip permanent marker and then remove this insert piece and clean it with alcohol to clean and relabel if needed. Though you could also just use a label maker and place the labels over the clear plastic insert so it has something to attach to without ruining the printed numbers on the paper below. The modules themselves are made of plastic, including the housings for the ports, unlike older or more expensive panels where the whole face plate would be made of metal. This makes it surprisingly lightweight so if you're looking to save on weight thats good. I don't know how it would fair for constant patching prob wouldnt be up for the task for something going on the road for tours and such, but for home installs where its patch rarely it should be more than fine. The housing for the modules is made of a thick metal (probably steel) and has a black powder coating that feels nice and durable, and the stiffener 'I' shaped bar is made of seems to be stainless steel or similar, both seemed sturdy, and together seem strong, not as strong as if it were a solid metal faceplate, but solid enough for my use at home or even a small business as it doesn't come off as cheap and looks professional. These are Cat6 UTP, not-shielded. I patched them and tested them and they so far have held up, will update here if anything changes there. For what good quality it is, and for the price, I'm very satisfied. ... show more

  • Foldable and easy to install 24 port Cat6a patch panel
Size: 1U (24-Port) Style: w/ Support Bar Product Packaging: 1-Pack
Unlike most 19" 24 port patch panels, this model arrives in a box that is half the size you would expect. Once you open the box you will discover the patch panel is folded in half which explains the short box. However, once you assemble the rack. it is about as sturdy as a regular patch panel so that is not an issue. What I like about this patch panel is that there are 4 removable sections of 6 ports that makes it easy to insert and remove a section of 6 ports. During installation, you can work a section of six making it easy to punch them down and then insert into the panel. The panel supports both 568A & B and the color scheme is clearing marked for easy installation. I had no issues punching down and cutting each wire with my tool. The panel also includes cabling support for each individual cable making it easy to keep your cables organized. Rated for Cat6A fully supporting speeds up to 10GB. I've had no issues with Everest Media products and this model does not disappoint. ... show more

  • Good product that helps me organize my network connections.
Size: 1U (24-Port) Style: w/ Support Bar Product Packaging: 1-Pack
Good product that helps to organize your network equipment connections. This product offers support to the cable so that there is stress relieve from the terminal connection making sure that the connections stays connected. A nice feature is the ability to take the group of 6 panel out from the front to be serviced. No tie wraps are needed because it the back cable rest has its own cable holders. It is a standard 1U for a 19 inch rack rail that is easy to configure and connect rj45 cables. The product seems to be quality and meets the CAT6 requirements. I could not find any defects and will be using it in my network on both POE and non POE devices. ... show more

  • Nicely thought out and secure
Size: 1U (24-Port) Style: w/ Support Bar Product Packaging: 1-Pack
This patch panel was nicely thought out. It comes folded in half (with a front and rear support). The unit itself is strong once unfold and assembled. It obviously came with 4 separate ‘modules’ for the network wire and the bolts and receiving nuts to attach to the rack. Also included are all the other little pieces to make a complete finished unit, caps to cover the rack nuts, a metal support ‘H’ which goes behind the face to make it rigid and a cap to cover the holes in the center of the face. Finally there is even a thumb screw to secure the rear frame in the open position. Once fully assembled in the rack, it looks good. The piece that makes this unique is the 4 modular sets of jacks that pop off, making it easy to pull them out a bit and punch down a new wire. That was simple to accomplish for each wire. Note, this panel only accepts Network cables since the individual jacks themselves are not removable. Another nice feature of the panel is the rear support for the wires. No longer do I have hanging down from my patch panel, which had put them in jeopardy of accidently having a wire pulled out. I would have preferred thumbscrews for the front, to allow a tool-less install, but since the front modules easily pop off, if necessary, there should be no need to remove the unit once installed. If I need a second patch panel in the future, I would not hesitate to select this unit again. ... show more
