Lots of women in my choir found this same dress and it looks good on everyone. I am 5’3” and it was way too long for me so I had to have it altered for length. This dress is very nice. I bought it for my daughter to wear to a school dance. The dress fit nicely, but is quite long! I had to cut off about 3 inches and hem the dress and liner. My daughter is probably 5’6”. She is not willing to wear high heels. The dress may have worked with 2 or 3 inch heels, but it still would be full length. The fabric is thin and absorbs sweat. I had high hopes for this dress and it honestly delivered in a lot of ways. It gives that flowy, romantic, slightly dramatic vibe while still being super wearable. For reference, I’m usually a size 18 and ordered a 20. It fit well overall, but I actually think a 22 might have given me the ability to breathe a little better in the waist area (it’s a bit tight, but I also have a thicker midsection). I have a larger chest and the fit works because of that. It may look too loose on a smaller cup size than D. The chiffon fabric is really the star here—it flows beautifully and looks much more elegant than I expected. The sheer sleeves are a gorgeous touch and add a soft, airy feel. The built-in bra inserts are… interesting. They’re there, but honestly you can wear a regular bra with this anyway. Pros: * Beautiful chiffon material that drapes really nicely * Flowy and elegant—looks more expensive than it is * Sheer sleeves are a standout detail * Cinched waist gives a flattering silhouette * Comfortable and breathable * Can easily dress up or down Cons: * Runs a size or so small and the waist is tight if you have a bigger rib cage * Top may feel too roomy if you have a smaller chest * Built-in bra inserts aren’t super useful * Length is LONG (I’m 5’5” and it drags—even with heels it might still be a bit much, especially if you prefer flats) Overall, this is a really flattering and elegant dress that makes you feel put-together with minimal effort. The dress is beautiful and well made, but it was just too small for my back. I am a weight trainer, and my back is more developed. I thought a size up would help as noted on a lot of reviews, but it was still too small for me. Everything else fit, so the only way it would work is if I went and got it tailored. I absolutely love the fit of this dress! After reading reviews and looking at the Ever-pretty website I was able to get the best fit for me. As others have mentioned the zipper is a little tricky. I'm 5'8 and the dress is a tad bit too long but not bad enough I would need it hemmed. The size chart showed that I would wear 10 but I ordered the 12 and it was perfect for my shape.
