I’m just under 5’6 and 208 lbs and I ordered a sz 18 which is what I currently wear so I was thrilled that it fit. It’s a hand wash and line dry only item, no dry cleaning so I’m reluctant to wash it first. I used a steamer to get all of the wrinkles out and it worked beautifully. I would consider buying this in another color for my son’s wedding either next year or the following year. I’m more of a pear shape. My upper body is a size smaller than my lower body and one of my hips sits higher than the other so I prefer an Empire waist or an a-line dress and this really fit well without accentuating my flaws. This is a second marriage for both of us so my fiancé saw the dress and he thought I looked beautiful in it. You can’t beat the price and I highly recommend it.

I ordered this after looking for the perfect dress AND color for my daughter’s wedding. I ordered up a size because I figured I could adjust if too big. I’m glad I did or else the top wouldn’t have fit. I felt great in the dress and I wasn’t constantly worried about it or having to adjust it. Instead I was able to completely be present in the moment of my daughter’s wedding knowing the dress I was wearing wasn't too sheer, or too tight, or uncomfortable. It was so flattering, I wish I had other reasons to wear it or order the same in other colors. This dress saved the day after searching for months and considering much pricier alternatives. Well worth it.

Ordered this as a reception dress for my wedding. For reference, i am 5'3", about 160-165 lbs, broad shoulders, narrow hips, shoulders 51" bust 42", waist 35", and hips 41". This dress gives me a very femine shape and is soooo pretty on. Slightly see through. I had a white body suit on under it to try it on and you could faintly see through so it looked like i was wearing white panties. Also about 3-4 inches on the ground so i will need to hem or where some pretty steep heels. But overall, beautiful dress for a great price and fits as the guide says. I ordered a 16 and i might could have ordered a 14 but the 16 fits great without anything being snug.

I weigh 209 right now (pregnant) I wear a 40 double D and it’s pretty big at the chest area cause I went up a size like the reviews said to if you’re busty, I got a size 20 could've gone for a size 18 or 16 but it’s very pretty and well made kind of thick so if it’s going to be on a warm day and you get hot really easy and fast like me maybe look for something lighter

This dress was really beautiful and well made. We would have keep it but it was very tight in the chest area and we did size up. I would say if you have a larger size chest you would want to go up a at least one if not two sizes. It could easily be altered down. If not needing it quickly we would have have just gotten in a larger size. We got a 18, normally wear a 16.. size 40DD
