We've had this for a few weeks and LOVE it. Wish we had bought it sooner! It's a little pricey, but not compared to other collapsible play pens considering the quality of this one. The 8 panel one is huge, and we love that you can use it as sort of a baby gate if needed. We never use it as a playpen because we didn't buy it until our little one was 12 months old and she'd throw a fit the whole time being confined to a playpen. However, it works amazingly to block her from areas we don't want her. We split it into 3 sections and used it to protect our Christmas tree, stereo, and dog bowls from the baby all at once. It's saved us so much trouble! There's no gate on it but it doesn't need one because every panel can turn into a gate. The joints are very easy for an adult to open the playpen up at any panel. You can position it pretty much however you want, but the panels do have "positions" they snap into so it'll try to stick to only certain positions. There are a lot of positions though, so it's not like it's only every 45 degrees or something. It's super easy to use and seems to be designed and made very well. The joints are large and robust, and I'm not at all concerned about anything breaking. It does get wobbly the more you stretch it out, but we always had it positioned in a way where it'd be difficult for the baby to knock it over. It folds down reasonably small for what it is. Obviously plastic panels can only fold so small, but it will be able to tuck into a closet corner when we no longer use it often. We're very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this product.

First off let me say that Evenflo hit a huge home run with this play space (or as my 10 year old son calls it, "baby jail). The single biggest feature that my wife and I love is that each part of the webbing is a rounded edge and not a sharp plastic edge. We have no worry about our daughter hurting her hands or feet on this fencing due to the awesome rounded edges of the plastic. In the classic octagon shape it is 5ft across by 4ft 10" across from the two opposite corners and the two opposite straight edges of the octagon. This gives a large enough space for your baby to crawl and maneuver around and explore the area safely. Each panel of the play space is held together with a simple and effective push button hinge design. The fencing can be easily taken apart by an adult and reconfigured in a matter of seconds yet is completely secure enough where a baby or toddler would be unable to separate the fencing. The webbing on each panel is small enough where a baby/toddler in the standing stage would be unable to effectively place their foot into the opening and climb. My daughter is nearly 9 months and is able to pull herself up and is starting to explore things with her feet while she is holding herself up. Her hands are completely unharmed due to the awesome rounded edges on the webbing. The angled design of the webbing also prevents little feet from being able to climb up the panel. The play space easily folds up for storage. Think of an accordion style where each fence panel folds over onto the other. You simply detach one corner from the adjoining panel by pushing the white button on top of the joint and the fence folds up easily. The last one of these I bought, was to keep puppies away from the Christmas tree. So I figured it would work to keep them from getting to close to the brooder with the baby chicks in it. It works perfectly. The dogs can still see the chicks but can’t get right up to them and scare them. A few weeks later when the chicks went outside in the front yard in a chicken tractor during the day, I took it out and put it around that too. Again, works perfectly. It’s easy to adjust the size by removing a panel if needed. And it’s sturdy enough to not worry about it being tipped over yet light enough to easily carry it to wherever you need to put it. And it folds flat without any difficulty. The fact that it folds flat makes storage much easier. My dogs are rat terriers so they are on the smaller side. 1 weighs about 20 lbs and is not terribly tall, maybe 10”. Her brother is quite a bit bigger, about 30 lbs and early 3-5” taller. They have stood on their hind legs, front feet on the top of this play yard and with the back side secured against the wall or in our case, the wood stove there was no worries it would move. And though they could look over the top of it and into the brooder, they couldn’t jump over. If you had a dog that was a jumper by nature it might not be tall enough to keep them from going over the top but in our case, one is a bit chubby and not much into jumping. His sister is more so but she was too short to get over it. So if you want to keep something inside the yard safe from whatever, I recommend this. This is the second one we’ve had in the last 12 yrs ( would still have the first one of it hadn’t been loaned out and their dogs hadn’t chewed it all up. All in all, sturdy, easy to use and move and good quality for many many years of use for a large variety of things.

Right price and serves purpose of what I purchased it for. To keep crawling baby in and nosey dogs out. U get for what u pay for in that its not overly sturdy and need to either keep it in the octagon shape and/or put something with weight against it to hold both sides up straight or whatever shape u put it in. I thought the price of sturdier ones was a little much and did not have space to store the larger plastic barriers with doors and what not. This product does not have door but can unhook easily. Plastic hid away stakes are nice to put in ground or on beach to keep kids in. Very portable and can come apart and/or fold away easily/slide under bed/couch in closet to store away which is why I bought it for my smaller apartment. Space is limited. There are a few pics of it in and out of box and I just threw up real quick in the area I'm going to use it for. Don't take too much out of it, just propped up, not how I would have it for when my daughter is actually crawling around in living room, but u get the idea...

This play pen is amazing. I love the color and I love how versatile it is. I have used it as a makeshift crib, a play pen for daycare kiddos, and even a playpen for foster animals. I have used it for my baby chicks when they had to be inside, I have used it for a litter of kittens I fostered, I used it as a cage for a bunny, and as a playpen for the puppy I got this year. I have even lent it to a neighbor for her grandkid. I have also taken it to family parties and used it outdoors. It is perfect and none of the dogs or kids have been able to knock it down. It is light weight enough to take with you anywhere. it's super easy to assemble and disassemble for easy transport or storage and it is very easy to clean. Because I have had animals in it I have had to clean it many times and I just take it outside and spray it down with a hose and then disinfect it inside and it works like a charm. I can see this thing lasting for many years. I have already had it for years and its basically brand new!

I got this to help us keep the toddlers corralled over Christmas. There were enough panels to block them off into the living area with us and not have to worry about them getting into trouble in my non-childproof house. We can also turn it into a circle or square play area when the toddlers want to be off with their toys and each other instead of in the living room with us. It is designed so they can't climb up the panels and it is low enough that most of us can step over. It also seperates at any panel easily to open up or move around. It also works for my big dog when I want to keep him seperated from guests. Might not work if your dog is a jumper unless you only use a few panels. The more panels strung in a row the less sturdy. I highly recommend it if you are looking for corral gates that are easy to put up and portable.

Can’t rant about this gate enough. Been using it for years now, through all 3 of my kids. Disconnects/connects SO easily. We travel with it everywhere! Camping, friends houses, outside, inside. It all folds right down and is super convenient to travel with . You can use all the pieces or just a few at a time. I’ve used 1 or 2 pieces at a time as a gate across stairs even. It’s so sturdy, not cheap at all. Perfect size. Would recommend, WORTH THE MONEY. You won’t be disappointed.

This play area pen is fantastic and such a help! It's so easy to use because it's lightweight but it is very durable. I only used it one day so far but I used it several different ways and it was a tremendous help! First I made the closed octogan play area configuation and my grandson played so nicely with some toys while I did the dishes and straightened the house. Then I opened it up and wrapped it around the room blocking off one part of a room with unsafe areas and a door to another room. That gave him two rooms in the house that were safe for him to go into which he loved. I loved it too because I didn't worry what he was doing in the other room that I was not in. I also used it in the closed position again to keep my visiting son's dog in while I took my grandbaby for a walk. That was nice because I didn't want to leave the dog free and alone while I was not home. I used the closed play area configuration again to keep the baby from dashing through the door while I took the stroller outside too. So this is very helpful to me. I'm thinking of getting another one for my grandson's parents. I also got the extension so that we can set it up in the rectangle formation and also to make a larger area when we use it outside. One of the reasons I chose the Evenflo was because it was a bit taller than the rest I researched and it has the stakes to make it more secure outside. This makes things easier and better and I'm very pleased with this fence play area! While this is not a replacement for adult supervision, it is very much a safer area for my kiddos with plenty of room!
