Loving these notebooks. I love that they are spiral bound and can lay flat. The cover is also stiff enough for writing with these on my lap, say at church taking sermon notes. I also enjoy the day of the week and weather icons at the top. Not completely necessary but a nice touch.

I was looking for a replacement to a disconnected notebook that I have used for years. This is the right size and price. Overall the product is well constructed. The covers are rigid cardboard and sturdy. The cover is not coated and not moisture proof which is not a problem for my use. These covers will only partially flex. You may or may not like it. I personally like a little give but others may appreciate the rigidity. It does lays completely flat when open. I don't consider the paper rule to be either wide or narrow. It is somewhere in between - 26 lines depending on how you count. Rule lines are dark. The paper is not shinny or coated (this is good). The paper is pretty heavy weight. In some respects this is good. There is no ink leaking through the pages and writing doesn't show through so each page is clean for reading. The paper weight does limit the number of pages. I would trade a bit of weight for more pages per notebook. The pages are not perforated and does not come out cleanly. I find this desirable for my use.
