We got this for our dog as she keeps barking at other dogs for no reason. I'm not even going to speculate why since it will just open up a can of worms discussion. But with this, she seemed to care more now on about what we ask her. I only have used the shock one or two times when she was a brat the moment we got this and on the purpose of using this the first time too. And we've got this the for a long time and used the sound and the vibrate only ever since. Before using it to our dog though, I used it onto myself first and I was able to feel the shock uncomfortably at number 8. And 5 would be the weakest for my bare skin. The issue I believe is the lag, one's you press the button you don't get the shock for less than 2 seconds. So you might be pressing it longer until you get a reaction while you're dog is getting shocked for two more seconds. Buttons are great, with protection feature for the shock button as it is separate and color coded. And even before you use it, you have to arm it first by toggling a switch. I believe this is a good product, you just have to learn it by experiencing it. Besides if you love your dog that much, you'll share it with them whatever it takes. I would recommend this device. Everything about this e collar is great! However, the range of this e collar vs some of the other ones on the market is the biggest drawback. We bring our dog to a big open field park and let him run around unleashed. With our previous e collar we were able to control him with the vibration at a much further distance. The Eufy we had to keep an eye out on how far he went before making sure we did not lose range. Otherwise the battery last for days, the sensitivity level is consistent, and it looks great on the dog! ... show more

These collars fit our 80lbs dogs and they charge with USB-C, which is nice. One of my dogs has been misbehaving, especially when it concerns the other dog. We wanted to train him with voice commands, beeps and vibration. It took a few tries before he understood what the beep meant. Unfortunately we couldn't keep using the collar because he had an allergic reaction to the rubber pins. It's a shame but he has had a reaction with a different collar in the past. I'm past the return period but we'll keep them if we ever need them for another dog in the future. I didn't test the shocking feature on them, and we didn't have the intention to unless he attacked our other dog but I did test it on myself, I was able to feel something a level 4 and it got uncomfortable at level 5. There are a few more levels after that and I don't intend to find out how hard that stings. ... show more

I would recommend this to anyone with a very wild puppy we’ve tried this for the past two years and have not been disappointed and have tested it’s waterproofness many of times the collar has been fully in water and has worked just the same and battery life is great!!!!

First, the good: charges quickly, seems to hold a charge for a decent amount of time, I love the rubber tips over the prongs, there’s a different button for each alert, you can toggle between two different collars on the remote, OR you can control both collars at once. I bought this to help teach my cat to stop attacking the other cat. I don't using the shock part which is great having the rubber Topps to prevent accidentally shocking if that button is pressed by accident. It is so much smaller than other ones I've tried and lighter too. The other ones I have tried she would look so uncomfortable because they were so bulky and heavier. When I use it to correct her it's the beep almost 90% of the time. The vibrate only if she thinks about it when beeped. I put the other one near my bedroom door so if her collar goes into sleep mode I can still beep the other collar and that gets her attention. ... show more

I’ve used maybe five different training collars. They usually last 3-6 months. I needed new ones this time because I lost my last controller, oops. But I’m kinda glad because I love these Eufys! I have two dogs, and the collars came already paired. The controller is small and simple, with a good safeguard against accidental shocking, which I LOVE. I almost never use the shock feature, but I’ve done it accidentally a couple times with other collars and I feel like the worst mama in the world. I tested the collars out today. Good range, easy to switch between dogs. AND it has a feature to buzz both dogs at the same time! I like it. We’ll see how long they work. My only complaint is that it only comes with one charging cord and it’s a weird size so none of my others work. So each piece has to be charged separately. ... show more

So I got these when they were onsale, if I had of paid full price I'd probably would have returned them. Worth it for $40, not for $80. Battery life is a day, maybe 2 tops. No way they get anywhere near that week plus they quote(maybe on standby with no use). Range is around 200 to maybe 300ft, again waaay less than the 1,000ft they claim. That aside the controller is well thought out and designed. I like being able to control individually or together and simple 3 front buttons to pick the correction method. Keeping the adjustment buttons on the side keeps it simple and prevents me having to think about which button does what. Top beeps, middle vibrates/beeps, bottom shocks(orange colored) The collars themselves are a small form factor which is nice and I can attest to their waterproof rating as both my dogs swim with them every day. ... show more

My only complaint is that I truly feel the button to switch between collars should be a physical slider, just like the power/beep/shock slider. Having to click-click-click to cycle through collar 1, collar 2, and both collars is not practical for quick changes, especially since you need to look down at the device to see which one you are on. Now add in some sun light marking it slightly more difficult to read and your quick intervention to stop or control your pet is not so quick. If I could slide it all the way up for collar 1, and all the way down for collar 2, and stop in the middle for both, this would allow for rapid switching and intervention without hesitation and without have to look down and cycle through. This is cumbersome for both critical and non critical situations such as training. You don’t want to beep the wrong dog during training, and you want to be prompt. Please change this and then send me a discount code so I can re-purchase ;) Otherwise, I prefer this over Dr. Trainer and other off brand collars. I rarely use the shock function, and I’m very conservative. But I found the Dr. Trainer “static” to be useless. It’s not even a tickle. For my large breed at level 10 out of 16, this is a blatant attention getter that will stop them in their tracks but is not cause harm. I have a self rule that I always try on myself before my dogs so I know exactly what they’re feeling. Not a concise review, but overall I recommend it and I love Eufy products. Please HIGHLY consider changing the channel button to a switch as I’m sure almost all dual collar users would agree. ... show more

The price point on these is great. We have a good dog, but recently moved to a farm and now have to rein him in a little bit (for his safety). Once we figured out how it works, it is really helping. I put the shock feature on me first to figure out how strong to set it. Once I got that dialed in, it has only taken a couple of those extreme measures. He now associated the beep as a nudge, the vibration as a strong suggestion, and the final zap as a command. He is not chasing the chickens anymore and when the snakes come out, we can make sure he stays away from the nope-ropes. ... show more

My biggest complaint is you can't see the led display in the sun! Unlike other's complaints about switching between collars I have no issues. As far as the shock level goes it does not work well on my dog with medium length hair only the dog with short hair. Otherwise I'm pleased with this purchase especially for the price! We have a very large young dog who barked at everybody that walked along the path behind our home. He even had graduated from two dog classes. We still could not stop him from barking and were exhausted trying to make him behave. Our daughter recommended this type of collar and it is magic! We only use the sound button and he instantly stops barking and comes and sits next to us. The battery goes quicker than I expected. My dog has a beefy neck for the buzzing and “shock” doesn’t work for him! The beeping noise it makes is nice but not the best fit for my dog!

We have been using this collar for around 9 months with our aloof male Dalmation who is now 18 months old. He completely ignores the tone function but the vibration function has been very effective. We have been training him for recall using the vibration and it has worked wonders. He already had a strong recall using the "come" command and this reinforces it. We purchased this device in preparation to transition to a GPS collar on our 8 acre property so he is familiar with the recall using vibration and knows to mind the boundaries and to check-in with us when he gets close to them. We looked at many other more expensive collars and this has been absolutely perfect for us and has held up beautifully. We actually just purchased a second one as a spare incase ours ever quits working although we don't forsee that happening anytime soon. ... show more
