This lip stain works very well. I took off 1 star just because it has a very liquidy consistency, just like water, which can at times make it a little bit difficult to get a precise application. Since it's so watery, I like to wipe off the applicator tip on the inside rim of the bottle multiple times before starting to apply. If you do not do this, you risk it dripping outside of your lip line. If this happens, no big deal. You can simply wipe off the excess with a q-tip or tissue right away. Once it dries, you can top it with a lip gloss of whatever color you like, and the gloss does not affect the durability or color of the lip stain underneath. I love water tints because of the natural look they give and this has been my go-to for a year now. However, as someone who licks their lips a LOT, the pigment barely lasts on me. After eating or going out for an hour or two, the pigment is already gone and I have to reapply. I have had some problems with this bottle also leaking on me, so not only is it hard to transport sometimes, but you also need to reapply, making this product kind of hard to work with. HOWEVER, I love it so much that I just carry it anyway making sure it is right side up in my purse. I just can't find another water tint alternative like this. Lips- make sure to scrape off excess product and don't apply all the way to the other edges of the lips. The product is runny and will spread. Blush- Love it! Gives an all day color. You may want to dilute the product with a drop or two of water. I use a small plastic mixing cup. You can build color better versus rushing to blend before it dries. Smells like grape! ... show more

I got the red grapefruit ade color and I really like it. It helps to really wipe the applicator of before applying it, otherwise it's so runny it's all over my teeth. The color is beautiful and feels incredibly light, not sticky or drying at all. This lip tint was all over my TikTok and so I decided to get the Grapefruit Red shade. I just do one coat and the shade kinda reminds me of clinique black cherry! I use a clear lip gloss on top and it doesn’t seem to transfer which is nice. I never really tried a stain before and this was EXACTLY what I was hoping… you can add layers to make the color more intense, but even one swipe will leave a nice mild stain that lasts nearly the entire day!! I just ordered a second color and this will be a daily staple… It really does leave that ‘just ate a popsicle” look and you can also add lipstick on top.
