Forget what follows. Folk, I feel pretty stupid. I figure out what I was doing wrong. Ignore what I had written. I tried to contact the seller, but Amazon made it impossible for me. I don't want to return the item, it is just that the pump doesn't work. There are 15 bags that are fine. How can I get a pump replacement. The pump worked for the first travel bag. It began to fail on the second one. It runs for 2 seconds and stops, again and again. The battery is fully charged It is just too difficult to use. How do I get a replacement pump. I was looking to swap out the winter/summer clothes and found that I might have collected up a few too many things to fit everything in the box allotted. Decided that these sweatshirts just take up space and vacuum bags might shrink things down. Ultimately, they worked and I was able to shrink things down by about half and fit everything into the box. These bags have a good seal and have been holding the vacuum for several hours now. Even if air gets back in, they are already packed away so the box will limit expansion. Overall, I think they have their uses; maybe not for travelling unless it is to dump socks and other smaller items into the bag since it is a little hard to fit my mens large shirts and whatnot through the opening without them getting wrinkled. Might just be a me problem.

The ETENWOLF 15-pack vacuum storage bag set is a solid choice if you’re trying to fit more into a suitcase without forcing the zipper shut. The three carry-on-friendly sizes (20”, 24”, and 28”) make it easy to separate outfits and compress bulkier items like hoodies, sweaters, and jackets. When everything is sealed correctly, the compression is legit and it can free up a surprising amount of room. The biggest thing to know is that this set works best when you slow down and do the sealing step carefully. If the zipper isn’t fully locked from end to end, the bag can slowly let air back in and you lose the benefit. It’s worth running the slider across the seal more than once and double-checking the corners. The valve area matters too, if it isn’t sitting flat or the cap isn’t seated properly, it can cause small leaks. Reading the instructions actually helps here, because the “right” way to seal and set the bag up isn’t always obvious the first time. The rechargeable wireless pump is convenient for travel, but it’s not totally effortless. You usually need to keep the pump lined up on the valve and apply steady pressure so it stays sealed while pulling air out. The best results come when the bag is laid flat and smoothed out first. Sometimes it takes a little repositioning or extra pumping to get the bag fully compressed, especially with thicker clothing. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes quick and repeatable, but the first couple uses can feel a bit finicky. Value-wise, it’s worth the price if you travel often, pack for multiple people, or routinely run out of suitcase space. The number of bags plus the included cordless pump makes it more useful than basic vacuum bags that require a household vacuum. If you only need occasional closet storage or you already have a vacuum setup and don’t care about portability, cheaper sets can work fine. Overall, it’s a strong space-saving travel kit, as long as you’re willing to take a minute to seal it right and pump it properly.
