This item is exactly as described. It works well and can be used with Lego. The fit is fine and it looks fine. Lego is just a bit higher quality and more expensive. I think it is a good alternative if you are just looking for extra pieces to add to any build. I am very happy with the product.

1000 pieces is vastly misleading for the amount of quality bricks you actually receive. As pictured, the bag came with over 360 flat 1x2 pieces. What the heck am I supposed to do with that many flat 1x2s?! It also came with a bunch of flat 1x3s, regular 1x1s, and a handful of blue slanted 1s - only blue, no other color. I maybe recieved 100 of regular actual building bricks (2x2 & 2x8). That's it. Also a couple pieces were deformed like the red piece I have a pic of, so I obviously had to throw those away. I bought this mostly for the trees and flowers, and I thought the lamp posts and stairs were a pretty neat addition. They do all fit well with name brand, but I was very disappointed with the bulk bricks variety and quality. I will not purchase from this brand again.
