We bought them for the looks and that they are black out curtains. Very nice looking, heavy duty material as well. They're pretty much wrinkle free and do a good job of blocking out the light. We are thinking of buying another pair of probably different pattern for the living room. These were bought for the kitchen patio sliding glass door and are perfect. Awesome!!! The material is very good quality. They are beautiful and very classy. The grommets are not thin they are very durable. They block out the sunlight and hang beautifully. They did not need steaming before hanging them.
