Description

The pop and glide walker ski pops on for easier mobility. Simply remove your existing tips and add the ski on to allow you to glide over carpet, tile or concrete. The skis will fit on the back legs of any standard 1 inch walker and are designed to last. Each package comes with 1 pair of skis. Designed to be used on the rear legs of Folding Walkers only, neither intended to be used on the front legs nor intended to be used on any other medical device or household item. To ensure proper fit take tip off of the rear bottom leg of the Walker and measure outer diameter of the bottom leg tubing. For proper installation remove rear leg tubes and remove existing tips. Place skis on hard flat surface and start inserting tube on an angle before straightening while simultaneously pushing down.

I only gave these skis four stars because I realize I’m probably the only person in America, who still goes barefoot 24 seven at 60 years of age. With that said, these work wonderfully, and they are very nice, and they support what they were intended for. They, however, are not made for bare feet. I couldn’t use these because I kept cutting my toes on them and stubbing my feet on them. They didn’t last me, but about 3 days of that and I had enough. So if you wear shoes or house shoes they would be great and I would have given them five stars which they really deserve. They certainly stay a lot cleaner than tennis balls and are not a “hair” magnet either. They really are a great item - just not for this bare-footed contessa. ... show more

Went through tennis balls like bread. There things are far easier to install and last much, much longer. Makes the walker much easier to move. If you're coming off of tennis balls on your walker, be careful when you start out, they will be more slick.

Tennis balls eventually wear out down to the rubber, and that causes difficulties to use. These slide nicely on wood and carpet.

    • Made using my walker easier
After my hip replacement surgery I was supposed to use a walker for a couple of weeks. We would go outside to walk, and doing it with the regular tips and a tennis ball was not very easy. Plus the tennis ball would wear out quickly. I decided to try these. What a difference! I was able to walk much faster and much more smoothly.
