The first thing you need to do is take the entire block of soap base out of the plastic wrapper and let it "sweat" out the oily film it seems to have. It took a couple days for me. It is unscented so it is great for adding whatever essential scent or oil you want to make it your own. It is a melt and pour soap base, takes color well and takes essential oil scent well. I made some very intricate bars of soap using silicone molds and it was perfect and very detailed. Be sure any color or scent added is cosmetic grade.

Gentle and great on any skin type Triple Butter & Turmeric are a wonderful combination Triple Butter & Black Soap is simply amazing together Will definitely buy again As long as they send the same product as they did before usually when you buy another product from the same merchant, they send a totally different product. I found this soap very easy to work with and it’s easy to cut up for use. I really didn’t notice any scent when opening package, and product retains a good scent when finished. End product has a nice lather and soft creamy feel that was divine. I really liked the moisturizing on my face and skin didn’t feel dry afterward. I would consider this a luxury soap. I would recommend and will be purchasing again.

I struggle finding the right glycerin for my skin type. This glycerin soap has some of the best ingredients and I have not broken out. Over the counter soaps do not work with my skin mainly because of allergic reactions. I use make up remover towelettes and then this glycerin soap. No breakouts and I am happy.
