This charger is very sleek and nice. It is easy to move around. You can put it on top of your Tesla display or to the side. If you need to hide it when it’s not in use it folds away nicely you can see this in the picture. The magnets are very strong and this can be used while driving over speed bumps without your phone falling. Qi2 is nice because normally wireless charging is extremely slow, however this charges fast at a speed of 15w. Would definitely recommend this product. The durability is strong and it is easy to setup.

Have been looking for a new charger mount for my model Y. Tried another brand that clamped on the screen, but the mount constantly fell off and could not handle typical road bumps. This adhesive mount from ESR is the way to go. It has the same high quality I have come to know when it comes to any ESR product I’ve tried. This is my second mount from them, first being a vent MagSafe charger I had in my car before I got a Tesla. This mount handled the road like a champ. It holds tight and did not budge when locked in. It’s also pretty easy to adjust the arm and the angle of the mount itself. Fits my large screen IPhone 13 Pro Max without issue. The charging was also fast. Definitely a better charge experience than the built in Qi charging on the Tesla. Only feedback I would have is to have a longer included USB-C cable, so we can tuck and hide it around the screen. But that’s easy enough to replace myself. They also included a cool little adapter to allow your cable to pass through the console door. If you need a MagSafe car mount for your Tesla Model Y that also has improved Qi charging, this is the one.

I decided to use this for my macbook and it worked great! Its sturdy enough to hold my iPhone pro without and sag. It looks sleek and the build quality seems really high. I have a lot other ESR products for my iPads so I am a firm believer in all of their stuff. I tried an iPhone with a plastic protector on it and this holder is still able to hold it just as well! The instructions were great because it has super detailed pictures. Make sure you open the box from the top per instructions on the box!

I’m increasingly becoming a fan of ESR products. They make a solid product all around and the price is reasonable. Design isn’t the most important aspect to me, but ESR product design is simple and clean, and I really like that! As for the Qi2 charger, it’s great! Fast charging and little to no heat. The magnets are strong. And put simply…it works. I’m still not certain about the mount and particularly if it’s being used on a non-smooth surface. Having said that, when I first installed it, the grip surprised me and it had no problem holding the phone where I wanted it. It was only when the car was sitting out in the heat that it became loose and I needed to reset it.

Wireless charging would NOT work with my magsafe phone case. Works fine without phone case. My original qi wireless charging works perfectly, but I want to upgrade to qi2 and its not working at all now.

2 weeks in and so far, I have been really impressed with this mount. I have used some other products from this manufacturer, ESR, and I have been impressed with the quality products that they have. I went with the low-profile option and I really like the way it looks in my car. Also, this mount rotates so you can use your phone in Landscape or Portrait mode, which is super convenient. The quality of this mount seems to be really high. And even better it looks good while being functional. The MagSafe is really convenient and should work with iPhone 12 and higher. I have had no issues with my phone falling off the mount as the magnetic case I have helps to secure it regardless of road conditions. The Qi2 charging works like it is supposed to and it is nice to be able to charge the phone while driving. I always have my phone being used for GPS, etc. while I am driving and so I have high expectations for this product and so far it is exceeding my lofty expectations.

My car has a dash with texture. And I wasn’t thinking. This would work on my dash so I tried it on the glass. I didn’t like the first spot due to creating a blind spot so I tired the dash and it worked. The wireless charging performance works good but not super fast. I like the appearance and aesthetics of it. The locking for suction is good and has some adhesives type stuff to it. It doesn’t over heat my phone so I like it. The magnet strength is good if you have a case with good MagSafe capabilities. My girlfriends phone case falls off if we are on bumpy roads and or we don’t get good initial contact with the magnet. Durability seems fine for the initial first week.
