Have been looking for a new charger mount for my model Y. Tried another brand that clamped on the screen, but the mount constantly fell off and could not handle typical road bumps. This adhesive mount from ESR is the way to go. It has the same high quality I have come to know when it comes to any ESR product I’ve tried. This is my second mount from them, first being a vent MagSafe charger I had in my car before I got a Tesla. This mount handled the road like a champ. It holds tight and did not budge when locked in. It’s also pretty easy to adjust the arm and the angle of the mount itself. Fits my large screen IPhone 13 Pro Max without issue. The charging was also fast. Definitely a better charge experience than the built in Qi charging on the Tesla. Only feedback I would have is to have a longer included USB-C cable, so we can tuck and hide it around the screen. But that’s easy enough to replace myself. They also included a cool little adapter to allow your cable to pass through the console door. If you need a MagSafe car mount for your Tesla Model Y that also has improved Qi charging, this is the one. ... show more

Size: Standard - Low-Profile Mount
This is a great car mount. And ESR stands behind their products. If you have an issue or a question about a product of theirs that you purchased, their Customer Service is very helpful and responsive. This is exactly the kind of mount we needed for our car. The adhesive for the dash mount is very strong and secure. The halolock magnet in the charger holds the phone securely. It works great with our Otterbox, Mous, and off-brand phone cases from Amazon. The adjustable arm and rotatable base works great in different positions. You can unlock both the arm and swivel-lock base to rotate and adjust height for different drivers. It's still a little tough to adjust after unlocking. But once the arm and base are locked back into place, they stay that way. My wife and I need the mount in different positions. So this works great for us. 4 months after purchasing this ESR Halolock car mount, the tightening ring on the back of the halolock part of the mount broke, which made that part of the base floppy. And it fell off a couple of times, while driving, because it could not stay securely attached to the adjustable arm. So I went to ESR's website, and contacted them for product help, requesting a replacement ring, since the original ring broke. The rest of the mount is still working great. They just asked me to send them a picture of the issue, which I did. They said they'd send me a replacement. I thought they would just send me the tightening ring, like I requested. But they sent me a whole new car mount! And it arrived the next morning! That response far exceeded my expectations. Anyway... I just took the ring off the new mount, and used it to replace the broken one. The rest of the mount still works great, and is still very securely attached to the dash. I really like this charger. It stuck itself right to my dashboard with no problem and has never loosened in the year that I've had it. It's great having a wireless charger that I can just put my phone on and it locks right into place. I have a Rocform case on my Iphone and I unfortunately had to take the big magnet off the case for it to work properly but otherwise this thing is great. Keeps my phone charged when I am doing Doordash. Plus it just looks really cool. Like I have a computer right next to me while driving. It's like Knight Rider. ... show more
