I pre-ordered the iPhone 14 Pro in purple, and I really wanted a clear case to display the phone color. I ordered 4 different clear cases on Amazon to compare quality, feel, etc. and ended up keeping this one. I love the way this snugly fits on my phone (and installs very easily as well). It has a good edge/lip on the front and around the back cameras so that when you set your phone down, nothing with get scratched. The plastic is clear and clean, and while I can't speak to long-term yellowing, I've noticed no change so far in the 2 months of using the case. I love the smoothness and feel of the case in my hand. I paired this with an ESR screen protector, and they fit perfectly together. My FAVORITE feature of this particular case model is the HaloLock magnetic on the back. Out of the four different cases I tested, this had by far the strongest magnet, and that was very important to me because I wanted to add a magnetic PopSocket for versatility, ease of use, and safety from drops. When I use the phone with the combined accessories, it feels safe and secure. Bonus: It has a little spot to connect a wrist strap should you want even more drop protection. Of course, even with all that, I still drop and bump my phone more than I'd like (I have two toddlers), and this case protects it extremely well. I honestly was just looking for a clear case that I could pre-order and have on my phone as soon as I took it out of the box. I chose this one because it was half the price of most other cases, so I figured that this would be a placeholder until I could get a better case. However, I was so pleasantly surprised by EVERYTHING about the case that I will be using it permanently. No need to spend more when I've found the perfect case here. ... show more

Like my previous review for ESR Krystec Clear case, I will say that ESR is brand that seems to be a new player coming up in the league of others like Spigen, Ringke, Caseology etc. Now the actual review/first impressions (check attached pictures) Design & Protection: The case 'Classic Series' feels a little more minimalist (thinner) than the 'Krystec Series' from ESR. That said I think this will offer plenty of protection nonetheless. The mini bumpers on all four corners should offer extra protection in event of a fall. The camera housing and the front of the case are sufficiently raised above the camera glass/screen respectively to offer protection on tabletop/countertop surface contact. Look: Overall look is clean and non distracting. I ordered the Black color & slightly prefer the black bumper look that blends into the black edges of the screen to the clear look on the Krystec series or any equivalent clear case. That is a personal preference though. Materials & Quality: The 'classic' series case's clear plastic back is supposed to be not as clear and the 'Krystec' series. So we will see how the transparency holds up over time (may post an update) The polymer used on the black bumper part of the case is little more plasticky than conventional full black TPU cases. This could be related to material choice requirements from bonding the black bumper to the clear plastic back. That also means that this is not ESR specific and would be present on all manufactures making a clear back+ black bumper combo case. To me, this is bumper texture is acceptable to get the clear back and see the apple logo / original look of the phone. One minor issue I noticed was that the left edge of the case (when looking at the phone under the volume keys) is very slightly out of shape and protrudes a little away from the edge of the screen. See last picture, with a red arrow highlighting this issue. This could a minor quality issue and hope ESR will audit and quality control for this in the future. ... show more

    • Magsafe Clear Case!

I was looking for a clear case for my new iPhone 14 pro, that didn't cover up the speaker holes at the bottom, and i wanted it to show off the Silver look of my phone. I searched online for the top best cases for iPhone 14's were... that werwe MagSafe. This case was on the top 5 cases that are best for the new phones, and I see why! Not only is it clear, that is really clear, not white or cream or off color. It is clear and shows off my new phone well. Installation was easy, all i did was snap the phone into place. Speaker holes are left untouched, the phone is easy to grip with the case on, and it doesn't seem to have any downsides. Of course I have just had it a day, so I have no idea how good it is to protect, but I have peace of mind at least. The case also extends over the screen and camera bump just a tiny bit to add extra protection to the phone, because the camera bump i was worried about and now it offers some protection as well! ... show more

I bought the ESR case because I didn’t like Apple’s Silicon case - the corner of the phone would pop out sometimes, and it made the volume buttons unreliable, mushy feeling. The ESR case is much better! It’s a MUCH better fit and the buttons feel more crisp. The magnets are stronger than Apple’s. The phone doesn’t show the MagSafe graphic when you first put the case on - but it does when you connect the charger and that’s what matters. The feel of the case is firmer than Apple’s, slick but not slippery. I wasn't sure at first but after a few days I like it. When I originally reviewed this case, ESR customer care contacted out to me because I said I wasn’t keen on how it felt. I’ve updated my review on this point - it was just different from what I was used to. It may seem a trivial point, but I was impressed ESR cared and wanted to make it right for me.
