What a difference a comforter can make! This comforter was recommended to me by a few trusted friends. To be honest, I was a bit stick shocked. But if this comforter is as good as what my friends are telling me, it would be a small investment (a buck a day for about a year). And I am happy to say the investment is totally worth it! The comforter is soft and fluffy and it is like hugging a cloud to sleep. And the temperature regulating feature is incredible! I am always cold and have been that person wearing a sweater in the summer in a/c rooms. Then comes the hot flashes and night sweats that wake me up in the middle of the night even though I am still cold when I first sleep because hubby likes to keep the bedroom cool. Poor sleep quality has been a concern for me. No blanket was the right blanket for my general coldness and the occasional hot flashes -- Until NOW. The first 2 nights I use the ESCURA comforter, my sleep tracker records scores over 90 and my average for the week is around 80! And when I wake up in the middle of the night and check my phone, I was able to hide under the comforter (so as not to disturb my hubby's sleep) without feeling suffocating. The comforter has a silkier "cool" side and a soft "warm" side. It worked so well I had to look up why and how. It is quite fascinating that the patented design uses rapeseed oil that would solidify and release heat when it is below 28 degrees Celsius (82.4 degrees Fahrenheit) and would melt and absorb heat when above 28 degrees. I am not sure if I flipped the comforter over when it gets hot but apparently did not disturb my sleep and I was kept comfortable all night. Before the first use I pop my new comforter into the washer for a quick gentle cycle and drier at ultra low setting. It dries quickly and well. So easy and without the need of a duvet cover! I hope it would stand the test of time with washing but so far so good! The best part is that it is made of natural fibers so I don't have to worry about breathing in or shedding microplastic into the environment every time I use it. The comforter is light weight so if you need a heavy/weighted blanket, this may not be the one for you. But if you like light airy feel, it is like sleeping in the clouds with this comforter! Very happy with my investment for better sleep!

I was skeptical of this blanket before I ordered it. The cooling materials seem to not work well on most of these types of comforters. This one is the real deal. The material is smooth to the touch and cool before even putting it on the bed. I'm a hot sleeper so was worried that the extra weight during the summer would have me waking up. I don't know what kind of wizardry they use to make this thing but it keeps you cool and comfortable all night. I've been sleeping great! This is a mid-weight blanket and is substantial without being bulky. So you may be asking does the warming function work? Well yes it does. I accidentally put the comforter on backward the first night and woke up sweltering. So to avoid that the blue tag needs to be facing up :-) Once you do that you're in business for the summer months. I haven't washed it yet but have no concerns that it'll hold up. The stitching is great on this thing with no loose threads and it's held up to having the dog insist that he needs to be on the new comforter as well. Overall this is worth the price and I would recommend it. I can't see us needing a new one any time soon.

Please don’t mind the picture, it doesn’t do the comforter justice and I just took it out of the dryer. I absolutely love this comforter. It’s one of the few cooling comforters I’ve received that actually keeps you cool. My husband actually gets too cold and will add a blanket on top of him and we live in Texas! It’s light weight, not thick, and the best part is the fact that you can flip it over and the other side keeps you warm for the winter. It has a very silky comfort to it (on the cooling side) and more of a cotton feel on the warm side. Very functional if you ask me! It’s very pricey, but worth it if you want something that will last you the entire year.

I absolutely love my ESCURA NeoCool™ Cooling Comforter—it lives up to its claims! The German-patented fill really does regulate temperature all night, keeping me cool without feeling clammy. As a hot sleeper, I’ve never slept better, and the lightweight design is perfect for summer. That said, the fabric shows stains easily (even from water spots!), so I find myself washing it more often than I’d like. Follow care instructions closely to preserve the cooling tech.

Actually keeps you cool, looks nice (though it occasionally holds wrinkles if you don't fluff it and stretch it straight out of the dryer). On that note, this is the first "summer" or "cooling" blanket I've had that survives washing and drying without severe degradation; the others all seem to rely on light, airy weaves that seem to dissolve in a regular wash cycle and shed little balls of fluff everywhere afterward. This one stays crisp and fluffy, which is great considering it's much more of an investment than many of the others I've tried. Also, it's got a very nice weight to it, almost like a quilt, but not quite up there with a weighted blanket. It's very snug and comforting, which I usually need to sleep well, but often have to give up in the summer to stay cool. Not anymore! Very happy with this comforter, and will miss it when I have to put it in storage for the winter.

I have never had anything like this before, but we recently got a cooling mattress, and that was a huge change to my sleep. I was still waking up too hot throughout the night, although less frequently. Que this blanket's order. This has changed everything. I am able to sleep better with this blanket because whatever it's doing overnight is making it so that I am no longer sweating or waking up from being too hot. I have not used it in the winter yet since it rarely gets too cold in Texas, but I will see how that works in a few months. I am beyond grateful for this blanket.
