  • By far the best welder I've ever owned
By far this is the superior machine over Miller and Lincoln. It comes with everything in the Box you need to start welding other than gas I would recommend this to new welders or seasoned veterans the only drawback I have found is the 120 it's not enough you're going to have to upgrade your sockets if U don't have it I did find the TIG torch to be a little bulky is not really easy to use but I don't do much take welding so that doesn't bother me what I really like about it is it has all the replacement parts you need pre-loaded on the machine so you can just get the item number and order a replacement nozzle tip anything from Amazon ... show more

  • Very good welder for mig, tig and stick! Great if you upgrade a few things on it!!!
Bought this welder 3 years ago, still enjoy using it for various jobs! With what the package comes with, its very capable right out of the box. The tig wand's cable is bulky and the rubber insulator sleeve picks up tons of crap from the shop floor and grabs your shirt if you throw it over your back while welding. I opted for a CK wand and find it 100% better when running tig. The mig gun is fine, slightly bulky compared with some other units I've welded with, but works just fine. Same goes with the stick rod holder. Both processes produce welds as good as any other machine out there. I added a Tweco spool gun so I could do some aluminum welding, this unit does aluminum quite well for a dc-only welder! I tried burning some aluminum via tig process but as expected, it just balls up on the electrode and really struggles to get that heat to the part you're welding. Throw the gun on with a roll of ER4043 and it lays down beads nice and clean! Most of my welding is mig running 308 or 309 stainless wire, I find it does great for welding all ferrous metals and stainless (mostly exhaust headers and pipes for me) without much issue. Photo is of a stainless exhaust I tig'd yesterday using 308ll rod, a little wire brush in the dremel and it looks nice and clean! No, nowhere as neat as the machine-welded line to the left, but I doubt there's anyone who can weld by hand that clean anyways!!! Completely happy with the way my welds come out using this machine! When I decide to replace it, I will stick with Esab, but will opt for the more expensive AC/DC multiprocess model like the IC235 (or whatever the newest model will be when I do). ... show more

i bought this for my son, a welder, because it met his specifications. He was pleased to have finally found just what he wanted at a great price.

  • Best Buy as far as I’m concerned.
This is great for the money. Only mig welded with flux ore. Got my 25/75 on the way, also 100 % argon. Then going to tig some aluminum.

  • Love it and worth it
Great machine runs like a dream. In fact, better than all the machines at my welding school and as good if not better than the machines at my job.

  • Welded 3" then POOF
Welded about a 3" bead, unplugged the welder and about 3 months later went to use it again and it's dead. It's under warranty but ESAB says they are 2 months out on parts or replacements, so I guess the going rate for an ESAB welder is $600 per inch of weld.

  • 10/10
Best 110V machine hands down, get this machine if you are a welder or want to learn how to weld, handles 3/32 6010 & 7018 like a champ

  • Good Welder Misleading Advertising
Very happy with welder. Did not get the foot pedal as shown in advertising. Guess that was the or; very misleading.
