This fluffed up more than excepted. After taking it out of the vacuum sealed bag, I washed it immediately and fluffed it in the dryer. No color was lost in the first wash. Fit my queen bed perfectly. I was hoping it would reach the bed skirt level and it did. Don’t hesitate to buy this! I was a little nervous from the other reviews. The pillowcases are very thin. They probably would not last long as your daily pillowcases. But I always have two extra pillows that I don’t actually sleep on, so these cases will probably last long enough. Just as pictured and so pretty. This is a thinner comforter so for us in northern Michigan where I'm at going to have to add another layer under it for warmth in winter but will be nice and perfect alone with sheets for summer. Very beautiful and my daughter is in love with it since she loves bumble bees. It came vacuumed sealed so dont be scared of the small package it fluffs right up. ... show more

She hates bedskirts. Also that gave her 2 shams which is much better. It comes vacuum packed but fluffed up quickly. It's a lightweight comforter. Peete that for her. No odor at all.
