I didn't intend to collect these high-quality, diecast, pull-back action vehicles, but now I have dozens. These diecast "toys" come in several scales. The 1:22 and 1:24 scales are the largest and have the most features. This Mercedes G63 AMG vehicle and features (sound, lights, etc.) is typical of the 1:24 scale. I ordered this model in white, and I think it's spectacular. All doors and hood are easy to open. There's a small button under the vehicle, next to the right front wheel that releases the hood. One thing I really like about the larger scales is the switch that has three settings - OFF (the pull-back action still works), LIGHTS (lights stay on, even if the vehicle is stationary), and ON (lights on plus sounds). The sounds consist of a racing engine, followed by screeching tires. These noises can become annoying, especially to parents. The horn also works. The seller's description says batteries are not necessary. That's true to a point, but the lights and sounds depend on a replaceable small button type battery (included and installed) under the vehicle. There's a sprung suspension and the front wheels can be turned, though I've never discovered how to maintain them in the turned direction. Regardless of age, I think this "toy" vehicle will be a hit. Great fun; priced right.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a mini replica of my G550 and even though this is a G62, when I saw this, I had to have it. I'm jealous of the interior color; I wanted the reddish brown and they only had black! This car is really sturdy and high quality; it's definitely worth what they are asking. The doors, back, and hood open. The switch on the bottom turns the lights on and off and there's also another setting to turn on the lights and sounds when you press on the hood. (See my review photos and videos.) It also has the standard pull back/go feature. Overall, great diecast car!
