Description

The ProFlex 1675 Back Support Brace not only promotes proper lifting techniques but also offers versatile hot/cold therapy. ProFlex back supports are designed to remind workers of proper lifting techniques while also enhancing the body's intra-abdominal pressure, moving the stress away from the spine. Featuring 480D spandex body material with a v-shaped design, this back support brace provides a firm level of support and also features mesh material on the backside for increased airflow. Rubber track webbing stays are sewn onto the interior to help keep support in position and prevent it from riding up. Included with each back support is a reusable cooling/warming pack for soothing pain relief. The pack can be activated in the fridge or freezer for cold therapy or warmed up in the microwave or boiled on stovetop for hot therapy. Cold therapy targets inflammation, swelling and muscle spasms, while heat therapy targets muscle pain and tension.

As someone that sacrificed their back to construction I know a thing or two about back braces. I've had a few good ones, and more than a few poor ones. THIS is among the best, and when you account for the price it's by far the best when it ranks up with $50 ones I've tried. What makes it great is it was clearly designed by someone that actually *USES* a back brace, or at least listened to the design cues from someone that does. There's no awkward dance to get the main part of the brace on, and the straps that tighten everything down are exactly where they need to be to easily grab and stretch across. While I don't really care about having suspenders or not, they can come in handy if you're wearing the brace all day and a nice value add. The best part about them is they're *moveable and removeable.* It's super convenient if you don't want them, and can be placed exactly where you want them if you do. Something I've never had on a brace before with suspenders. Then the included hot/cold pack is another feature I don't really care about having or not, but again it's a nice value add and has a pouch right where you would need it if you do. Like I said it's clear this was designed by someone that's actually going to use it because they thought of everything. If you don't like where something is everything is adjustable. If I had to really try to pick something negative it's the same issue I have with EVERY back or ankle brace I've ever ordered, and that's to make sure and buy a size up. I wear a large to XL shirt because I like them loose and had the foresight to order this XL, and sure enough it's not an XL, it's very much a large. As long as you buy a size or 2 up if you're not sure you'll be good. It's exactly what you want from a back brace and the materials feel sturdy enough to last, but just in case the velcro wears out I literally ordered a second one to have a backup if/when I wear this one out. ... show more

Idk who's idea it was to add a hot/cold pack to a back brace but give him a raise! This helps with lower back pain/ muscle tightness so much. The brace also provides great back support and very comfy to wear. It fits well and is of very good quality for the price.

It might be a personal preference, but I cannot get it as tight as I would want it when I want it tight. It does hold the pack in place and give (gentle) support, but I'll have to find another.

I Tweaked my back and this brace was the only way I could keep going. It’s comfortable adjustable and I love the ice heat pack that it came with. I ended up purchasing another one for my elderly parents and my dad loved it. Price was great quality. great I use it again if needed.
