This desk frame is faster, very stable, has presets, operates very smoothly and is VERY quiet. I love that I had the opportunity to customize MY home office desk to the width/length I needed. Used this with a butcher block that I bought, sanded, and stained myself. Legs are easy to install, have good power. Desk is a little shaky at higher settings but I bought this to primarily have an adjustable desk, not a standing one. Great value for the cost.

I have been looking at sewing table for a very long time and haven't found one that has the versatility I want. I am going to use this standing desk frame to create the sewing table of my dreams. I am having a custom top made for it that will have a drop down shelf made to fit my straight stitch machine and the top will be long enough that I can have both my straight stitch and my serger set up on the same table. This is heavy enough that it won't wobble when the machines are being used. When it is not being used for sewing, it will function as a cutting table, I can put an ironing mat on it and it becomes an ironing board, or I can cover it with a tablecloth and it can be used to set up a buffet style meal or I can simply use it as a roomy standing or sit down desk for my laptop. I can see this being useful in a workshop. The possibilities are endless because it can be set to a variety of heights and the top can be made however you want. It will take the place of a few items in my house and save on storage space as well as floor space. I can see this being used everyday and I can't wait until it is finished. It will be going to the guy who is creating the top for me so I cannot show you what it is like when it is put together as it will be easier to transport in pieces but I did unpack it and checked to make sure that all of the parts are there. As you can see in the first picture the instructions give you a list of the parts required for each step of assembly which gives you an easy parts list to checkoff. Not all of the parts are marked but those are large and easy to identify from the pictures. The small parts are clearly marked and nicely packaged. When I counted them to be sure they were all there, I found that in the case of some parts there are a few extra. The instructions for assembly have large pictures and are easy to follow. This is a quality product and when you consider how many things you can do with this it is well worth the price.

Awesome addition to the work room. Having the ability to just tough a button and work standing up really helps keep me moving while working from home. Sitting down hours and hours day after day is terrible for you so this really snaps you out of that and gets you up and moving a bit. Well worth the price super easy to use and figure out!

I have a very nice standing desk for my office - it's from a company that primarily does commercial applications. They are extremely heavy duty and use high quality motors - so my standards are pretty high. I wanted a standing desk base that I could use in my workshop. I plan to put a butcher block top on it and use it for various tasks in the garage. This ErGear frame comes packaged very well - everything was completely surrounded in foam....no scratches or dings. Assembly was very straightforward - everything you need is included, no additional tools required. When I got it all assembled and plugged in, I was actually shocked - the motors were basically silent!! I had a little ambient noise in the garage from a small box fan running. I had to shut off that fan in order to hear the slightest bit of sound from the motors. Super impressed. Motion is also very smooth. Once assembled, I was also really surprised at how sturdy it was. I tried to shake it side to side and it barely budged....another big plus, especially when using this in the garage. I've already made one minor change to the desk. Since I am using it in the garage, I want to be able to move it around. The desk comes with plastic feet that screw in place, and can also be used to level the desk. I simply matched the thread of the feet to some casters I found on amazon - one day later and I had a mobile desk! For those wanting to know the thread is M8x1.25 and 15mm long. There are a few options on amazon at this size. Overall I am extremely impressed with this desk frame - quiet, well packaged, easy to put together, and super sturdy. I don't know what more I could ask for!

This is a great kit to get if you want a standing desk and already have a tabletop or old desk that you can remove the top from. I've used a few sit/stand desks now and this one is on par with the others I have used. It's very easy to get everything unpacked and it is fairly easy to get the legs attached to your supplied top. This is a very easy recommendation for me.
