Each piece has a one of a kind look due to the natural variations in the colors and textures of the hides. I love this purchase. It gives a very elegant look. I live in 660 sq ft studio, and I have the 8×10. It is a thin rug but also soft. It arrived as scheduled. It had a scent but it went away within a month. I have hardwood floors but it dosen't slid, it could be because i have furniture on top of it to keep it in place. Im noticing that the furniture on top is leaving an indent in the rug and im not sure if it will be permanent.I use a small hand vacuum to keep it clean. I haven't had any spills thus far to clean, ill have to research the best way to clean it if or when that happens. Overall im very happy. ... show more

One of the best purchases I’ve made on here. I had seen one just like it on another furniture site at around $2-3k, I loved the idea but I was hesitant to shell out that much for a rug. I found it on amazon and I was very hesitant to buy it at first due to lack of pictures and some complaints on quality but I took the risk and I LOVE it. It’s all real cowhide. The stitching does look a bit light but I don’t have it in a high traffic area so I’m not expecting it to come undone anytime soon. It is a little thin because it’s just cowhide. The edges can lift a little but I think that’s normal because it is all cowhide. I just placed the furniture over it so no problem but I can see how it would be an issue for the smaller sized rugs and it warping real badly and looking bad however at the large size it’s not an issue. The only small complaints was the smell and it arrived a little moist I think it might have been some sort of processing finish they put on it but after airing it out a few days it doesn’t smell. I also wish it had more black patches but that’s my personal preference. In short, it’s a fantastic buy for the price although I’d be cautious of the smaller sized rugs as other reviewers have pointed out. ... show more

I love this beautiful area rug, the color is exactly as pictured, there was only a slight odor upon opening, and it arrived quickly. Cow hide is hypoallergenic so it has helped with allergy symptoms which has been a bonus! One has to expect this to be a bit different simply due to the textile of natural hide so I knew it would be less padded and purchased a felt pad to place under it. I think the pad also helps keep it in place on my wood floors.The best part is, I find the cow hide easer to keep clean and it tends not to hold onto dust the way a wool/synthetic rug with extra padding does. ... show more

The rug was delivered before expected, which was nice to have before the holidays. Colors are neutral and is very soft on bare feet. Very pleased with quality. The rug does have a weird odor but went away after a while.

I do like this cowhide rug. It's not very thick and I would recommend a rug pad with it. However, for the price - the look can't be beat!
