This sandal arrived quickly and came in a very attractive, heavy cardboard shoe box. The outer tread looks like a car tire— it has superb tread, very slip resistant. I was impressed with how high quality the tread is. The black and white sandal was my color choice. Wow, this is such an attractive color option. I highly recommend it. It goes with everything Next, attached to the straps ALL OVER, are generously sized, anti chafe pads that go between the straps and the foot. They are generously sized and well placed. I have NO scratchy spots that cut Into my flesh as I walk, causing huge, painful, bleeding cuts on my feet that are painful for weeks, leaving long term sores on my tender skin. Not one single bad scratchy spot. (Are you reading this, Teva????? What happed to your sandals, which I can no longer buy!??! The chafing from all Tevas I have bought recently has been horrendous. It’s a terrible issue and I simply cannot afford to spend another penny on your once fabulous sandals.) The foot bed has a very comfy, soft-firm feel. It’s wonderful for the older foot that needs a little extra TLC. It is soft and cushy, but not overly so, very luxurious feel This sandal is lightweight. I felt the video ad for this shoe showed the sandal to be heavy and clunky. Not at all in person. They are surprisingly lightweight and didn’t feel clunky at all. So far, I have taken my all terrain hiking sandals boating. They happily get wet then dry out just as happily. They were perfectly comfy to wear when wet, which is great for a kayaker like me, so I think these make a very good water sandal Next came a hike over rugged terrain. The outsole handled gravel and tree roots and steep terrain easily and comfortably. The straps held firm but never cut into my feet. (The straps are sturdy but are luxuriously soft on the foot). Next came shopping and errands and a lot of time running around doing chores. More comfort The only negative I can find is that I prefer a higher orthotic arch. This shoe provides a decent arch, but I’d prefer a little higher orthotic arch Nevertheless, this is a terrific sandal. Teva could learn a lot from this sandal! Finally, the price is very reasonable for such a great sandal. I’m surprised at how much I love this sandal

Edit: sadly as another review had stated, the sandals have started pinching me pretty hard when I walk only on one side. It’s the grooves of the design in the sandal on the sole, they spread apart and back together when I walk and pinch me. They didn’t do that at first. It is wearable with a sock or if they’re not like warmed up if that makes sense but if I wear them for a bit they start to pinch me again and it hurts like I’m getting blisters. Bummer bc it’s hot out obviously I don’t want to wear socks. I love these sandals so much though they have good support everywhere else just not a good choice in the design cut into the sole. I love these! Pros: Arch support True to size No blisters Adjustable everywhere Cushioning and padding Cute design Tread on bottom I saw another review of someone saying they had fractured their foot and used these afterwards and that’s all I needed to hear lol. I broke my foot 3 months ago and haven’t walked at all in said time per drs orders. Now I still have the fracture on the X-ray but dr says it’s been long enough and it’s time to walk. I have supportive sketchers but I’m a sandal person and if it were possible I wanted some with support to start walking in. These are great, not perfect but much better than I thought I’d find. They’re cute enough, I admittedly wouldn’t have tried these had I not hurt my foot but they are actually so cute and functional they have great support and a thick bottom which is kind of soft you wont feel anything under your shoe. Decent arch support too. Every strap adjusts which is great for swelling feet like mine. The sketchers feel better obviously but I walked in the grocery store today with my crutches for extra support and they were great. It’s a great option to have if I don’t want to wear something closed and I don’t since it’s 109 here today haha. One con: rubs my pinky toes kind of weird or holds them kind of odd I should say. Everyone is different though so that may not be a problem for someone else, it doesn’t hurt it just feels weird but I’m thankful for all the padding I don’t see myself getting any blisters from these later on.

PROS: - True to size - Very secure, with velcro in multiple places - The bottom is comfy and cushioned - Lightweight and looks easy to clean - Nice design that could be dressed up or down CONS The inside of the shoe, under my feet, has a weird texture that makes it feel like I’m walking on light grade sandpaper. I walk around barefoot a lot so my feet can take “not smooth,” but it’s a weird feeling. It’s not as soft as a foam sole would be, and as you’d wear these without socks, that’s important. I don’t want the balls of my feet to get blisters if I wear these hiking. The shoe also rubs on my big toe. I’m going to walk around the house more to decide!

I've been a Teva wearer for decades but needed a sport sandal ASAP. Tried 4 pairs of Tevas and they all sucked. Tried these because of the reviews and price. I'm in love! The color, the sizing, the comfort were all phenomenal.

These sandals are sooo worth it! I read other reviews about foot issues and I was dealing with bursitis in my left foot. Very sensitive and painful that lasted several months to heal and I have these sandals to thank for the relief! The soles are nice and thick so they offer excellent cushioning and protection between your feet and the ground. The straps are fully adjustable and comfortable- no rubbing or chafing on skin or bunions. I just returned from a trip to Morocco; these are the only shoes I wore the entire trip! They trekked up in the Atlas Mountains and walked the medinas in Marrakech and Essaouira. Wear with socks or bare feet- your feet will thank you! You’re welcome :)
