I’m so disappointed in this purchase. The vinyl is so pretty, and initially seems to have adhesive on the underside. However, it all peels off after a few hours. All of the edges lift. I have tried multiple types of surfaces and it won’t stick to anything. You also can’t use standard transfer tape. The top won’t stick to standard transfer tape. I had to order extra strong transfer tape which is problematic for some surfaces because it causes damage to the item when you transfer the vinyl. Ugh. Returning this item.

I bought this brand to try and place of the cricket bar. It’s very pretty, very shiny. But it does not adhere to the final product in any sort of lasting manner. It cuts well, it weeds well. It just does not have any longevity. I do not recommend buying. It gets two stars because it’s easy to work with.

This review is for the 10pk of glitter vinyl. The good: -The colors are a nice assortment, and fairly true to the screen colors. -The vinyl is thick and durable. -The backing stayed on while cutting. -It weeded well. -The price for 10 feet was fair to me. -The adhesion seems to be fine. It sticks to glass and plastic but comes off when I want it to. -I greatly appreciated having the option of an assortment of colors, as I have a young crafter and more colors is always more important than more of a color in all craft supplies at our house. Buying a full roll of any one color only makes sense if we've run out of it and see that it is getting used more than its fellows. For financial and space reasons both, I prefer varied samplers. The bad: -The backing is pure white, no gridlines, and glossy, so drawing my own cut lines on it was tricky. The pen did not want to write on it. -For some unknown reason, the light pink sheet I received had a line across it. It wasn't a fold line, or anything related to the backing, just a darker shadow line across the entire page about an inch in. Luckily I use pretty small pieces in general and should be able to work around it, but if a page was going to be damaged, I would have preferred it be any color but pink. -There were no included instructions, and no instructions on the product description about cut settings. I tried the built in glitter vinyl setting on my Cricut Maker, but that did not cut through. I needed to run the cut twice. At that point, it was cut enough to weed, though there were a couple of sharp corners that I had to pull at to separate. I will have to fiddle around with cut settings in future, try extra pressure or some other vinyl preset options, see if I can find one that cuts cleanly, but it is obviously thicker than the Cricut brand glitter vinyl, and not having cut setting information provided is the primary reason it lost a star. -The packaging could be improved. It arrived flat-packed in a thin clear disposable plastic pouch, torn at one corner. There was no indication of what it was, even, aside from the standard Amazon barcode sticker. No instructions are included, and getting the sheets back into their pouch when I was done inspecting them to put them away was a chore and a half. I'm much happier with other brands I've ordered on Amazon that come in clearly labeled, instructions included, durable paper folders that can be reused easily for regular storage. I don't know what I'll do about storing these, but I'll have to figure something out. The in between: -Regular transfer tape is useless with this stuff, but I knew it probably would be going in, based on the reviews of all the other glitter vinyl brands out there, and I was prepared for it. Luckily, as it turned out, because there is no mention in the product description or any instructions included that you will need the specialty strong-grip transfer tape for this, and unlike many other brands, absolutely none of that transfer tape is included. (Most include at least some, if not enough, in my experience.) With the strong-grip, it worked perfectly, but either warn people or provide them with what they need, in my opinion. The other reason for the lost star. Overall, I'm satisfied, personally. I will use them, and I'm sure I'll eventually figure out the correct settings. (There isn't enough here for me to make unnecessary cuts just to test the settings.) I will probably buy them again eventually, if we run out and she wants more. I'm not super thrilled, tell my friends about it, though. It's a decent product, not a game-changer. Being sparkly saves it. Will update with Cricut cut settings if/when I figure them out.

I love this shimmer vinyl! It isn't glitter, so nothing flakes off. It really is more of a textured vinyl that creates a shimmer effect. I used it to create some stickers for my Airpods (to make it easier to differentiate between mine and my husband's). I made a clamshell sticker for mine and you can see how well the fine details weeded out. It has been on there for about a month now and it doesn't show any signs of peeling. I always have it in my pockets or purse, where they're surely rubbing, but it is just really good quality. It looks like it did the day I put it on.

I ordered the 12x12 glitter pack and I will say, that although it looks beautiful, it's almost absolutely impossible to weed. I used my Cricut 2 to cut, but trying to weed, it stretches, and tears. The price is awesome, and I guess the saying that you get what you pay for applies here. I'd avoid this purchase and go for a higher-quality one. With that being said, I DID order some of the regular vinyl and had no problem with it.
