This is a great product. I've never used mica powder before but just started playing around with polymer clay. These were cheaper than some so I figured it couldn't hurt to try it. Most mica powders look great with black background. These colors were very light blue beachy colors , I used black resin and the colors changed drastically. I’ve used white background and it looked much better . The two blue and white turtles at the bottom are with their Pearl mica powder as a background . ... show more

    • Swirl in the pigment doesn't retain.

I love how opaque this makes my epoxy molds, but one thing I noticed was that the swirls don't stay. It tends to blend to one solid color, even when only lightly swirled with other pigments. I'll have to continue to test this.
