These skates are very good quality, particularly because you can change out the wheels and laces as you prefer. However, my daughter is 7 years old and wears a size 1.5 shoe. I ordered a size 3 and these will (maybe? hopefully?) last a year. I should have ordered the size 4. Order LARGE, my friends. As in, 2.5 sizes above their shoe size. Purchased these for my daughter's carhop Halloween costume, she's in love with these skates! Great quality, very very well made and without a doubt worth the price. I do wish the laces were a bit longer, though, as you cannot lace them to the top of the skate. Comes with both white and pink laces and these precious little poofs that can be tied on to the laces! ADORABLE! Really can't say enough about how high quality these are, definitely recommend! Maybe just pick up some longer laces. ... show more

Very nice skates in appearance. The boot is well made and the extra shoe strings and added pom pom is a nice touch. They were bought for a new skater, age 7. The wheels spin so fast she couldnt even stand up on them. I tightened down the nut on the wheels and that did help but the wheels seemed to loosen up as she was skating.
